My mother in law had surgery here and they did an excellent job of taking care of her from start to finish. The entire staff was so professional and caring throughout the entire process and they really put my mother in law at ease. The room in which she stayed in had its own bathroom and plenty of room for guests. The room was also outfitted with cable tv to keep her occupied after we left. I would like to thank the entire staff for the world class care you provided for my mother in law.

The staff were very attentive and diligent. They took me on from air med after my local hospital felt they were unequipped to care for me. Regional worked hard using a team of 3 doctors to dial in my case to get me back on my way. The doctors were very informative, explaining everything clearly and the nurses were always so kind and friendly.

My experience of me staying in the hospital was great . I had five great nurses who took care of me, they were Mrs. Novacski, Mrs.Ana, Mrs. Jacinta, mr. Ben., and Mr. Taylor. And plus the four nurses who came in the prep room to get me ready for surgery. The last stay was ok, but this time was very nice. My doctor was Dr. Prevost and he was great to fix my problem. Thank you Mrs.Sample

I start by saying I already had a high opinion on Alaska Regional Hospital. This is why we go here for bad check ins and happy ones.
We had a baby here recently in the family birth center and then were transferred to women and children for the next 24 hrs. Let me say everything about the stay here is of full excellence! Hands down this is my hospital choice in Anchorage! The staff is main reason why I say this. They are the kindest people with compassion you will find! Applause after applause! Thank you!
The room they gave us! Wow really!? A King bed so my wife and I we could both sleep as we both enjoy getting to know our new daughter. Never got that with my other three kids! (They were not born here.) Then they offered us a Proud Parent meal for both of us later, which for hospital food, was really good. Even the cafeteria is getting applause! This whole stay was too kind and over the top in my opinion. Thank you Alaska Regional Hospital.

Came in after ski accident. Wait time was only about 30 min after triage and brought back to get examined. Dr. Brooks was very thorough with her assessment and provided great care, ordering all the necessary imaging I needed for ortho follow-up. The ER nurses and MRI tech were all friendly and explained everything well to comfort my nerves.

Surgery for my husband, appreciate all the staff. Most of the 4 days were handled well. I bit long waiting for Xray's and blood draw on 1.21.25, but the staff from 1.22.25 through our release on 1.24.45 were very wonderful, helpful, and that includes the kitchen order staff and cleaning personnel. It was nice to be able to spend the night with my husband the night before release so I could learn how to care for him at home during his recovery. Thank you so much to everyone. We were in the spinal care ware. Just great folks

I had some amazing nurses during my stay in the hospital, which really shouldn't have been as long as it should. It was disappointing that I had two doctors essentially fighting over my care plan, pushing off my surgery while I was on a no food diet for 3 to 4 days. Top it off, one of the doctors was rather rude and really needs to work on his bedside manner.

I had a c section delivery here as a first time mom and honestly have never felt so comfortable in a hospital. I was admitted for 4 days and in that 4 day period every nurse that we interacted with helped teach us something new without any sort of judgement. Every time I felt exhausted and needed a break to sleep they had no problem watching my daughter, they were extremely empathetic when I cried from feeling overwhelmed, they were very inclusive with my daughter’s father and they celebrated every little step of improvement I made in my recovery after surgery. Even though we had a variety of nurses help us and they were all amazing, a few stuck out to us in particular. My father passed 2 weeks before I had my daughter and when I got emotional about him not being there, Cece listened to me vent and was very sympathetic. Sarah was a frequent nurse of ours and even when the labor & delivery ward got full of patients she made sure to still check in on us regularly. I felt bad that I was struggling to breastfeed and Sam made sure to reassure me that “a fed baby is best, no matter the method”. Jennifer was our night nurse when we got moved to the postpartum unit and she was very helpful with teaching me how to bathe our daughter and was just extremely sweet. Overall, to sum up my review, I would highly HIGHLY recommend this hospital for any future parents. <3
