I cannot speak highly enough about this organization. So I have a little bit of an odd story with Actalent. I thought I was just applying for another opening through LinkedIn with no idea what Actalent was. Thirty minutes later I receive a phone call which I just randomly chose to answer. (I’m not one that answers unknown numbers but I guess God told me to this morning). Kelsey Prestly asked me a series of questions in order to get to know me, my passions, background and goals. Immediately I trusted her especially when she was overflowing with professionalism, advice, and information. She set me up with five openings with all the need to know information… pay rate, benefits, contracts, location, hours, etc. She was ready to get the ball rolling and wanted me to rank them with what suited me. In the blink of an eye I was interviewing for multiple positions and places. She was extremely transparent. With Labor Day weekend in the midst of this she took a vacation but did not leave me hanging, she set me up with Kacie Brockman to continue my search and picked me back up after she returned. Both women encouraged me, gave me pointers, were available all hours to answer my questions, and anything you can think of! I have dealt with Scientific Recruiters before and never have I felt so valued and successful as I did working with these two ladies. Honestly, I will stay connected with these women for years to come. Even though we have only met through phone calls, they have become professional acquaintances of mine and I could not have been more blessed. They were patient with me and helped me accept what always seemed like a dream job to me. Not only does Actalent seem to train their employees very well but Kelsey and Kacie are great at what they do! I thank God for placing them both in my life and am eager to see what is to come! Horrible experience!!! Devin B was my point of contact for this office, I went through the process everything was going well he got me an interview and they offered me the job this was a few days before New Years and Christmas Eve so holidays were coming up and everything was going to be closed and. Because of that I wouldn’t be able to have the drug test and background check completed in time for me to start on the fourth like employer wanted he was suppose to communicate this to the employer that there would be a few delays….the website also went down and he told me to contact the help desk which I don’t feel like is my job seeing as I don’t work there I’m just trying to fill out my hiring documents to work there so I contacted the help desk they didn’t care and said they would fix the issue and they never did so I then waited all weekend hoping they would respond on Monday with the issue fixed so I could finish my hiring paperwork to try and get to work on the 4th like the company wanted all that was left was to schedule a drug screen and fill out tax info ,and I guess he didn’t communicate to the employer there were issues because they decided to go and hire someone else even though they offered me the job which I’ve never seen before…Devin didn’t even have the decency to call he texted me telling me and not only that he didn’t even try to help me find anything else or get me any other interviews….temp agencies use to be really good and would actually help you get a job now days they don’t care send you on one interview then blow you off if you don’t get that. I filled out all the hiring paper work for nothing and wasted my time thinking I had a job.
