We were so grateful that our son's psychologist recommended Ability Innovations. Our son was diagnosed on the autism spectrum at age 17. He is high functioning, but still struggles with social situations. He has been receiving speech and occupational therapy at AI for 6 months now, and we can't believe the improvement we have seen in that short time. His self-confidence is much higher, he speaks more, he is close to finally getting his driver's license, and has embraced a lot more independence these past few months. The therapy he has received at AI has been the biggest contributor to these improvements. The therapists at AI are all experts at what they do, and they specialize their treatment plans around the needs of the individual child. I have been extremely impressed with the professionalism of the therapists, the office staff, and the insurance specialist. They all do a great job to make getting therapy for my son feel like an easy process.

I have been taking my son to Ability Innovations in Ogden for over a year for physical therapy and they are the best! They helped him start crawling, walking, and now working on stuff like running and jumping. Our physical therapist Kayla is the absolute best and does so great with my son. She is great about planning activities and exercises around things he is interested in, usually trucks! The office staff is super friendly and easy to work with. And all the other therapists in the office are great as well! Even though they’ve never cared for my son personally, they always greet him by name. My son loves coming here and playing with Miss Kayla and I’m so grateful to have found such a wonderful therapy clinic to help him meet his milestones. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone who has a child needing physical, occupational, speech, or feeding therapy.

My daughter has been seeing Mattie for speech therapy and it has been great for her! She really loved going to the office and being able to play while she did therapy, but our schedule and the drive distance made it difficult. We were able to switch to teletherapy and she still loves it and is making progress. This office is great to work with as well.

Having a son that was recently diagnosed with autism felt overwhelming at times. We have been at Ability Innovations for 4 months now and it has been extremely helpful. My son LOVES going to OT with Rachel and she has been very helpful in giving me tips and ideas as to help my son with his sensory seeking needs and understanding/helping him with social skills and emotional regulation. Megan in the office has also been amazing to work with. She has helped me with the process of applying for medical grants and getting the paperwork to me that I need to send in. It has been a really positive experience for us at Ability Innovation.
