Zach? Hope i spelled it right, anyways, zach and his crew at the Fort Walton location, the only way to describe it is they went above and beyond what they could to make my bronco work again. They were the 3rd shop to get it after the first one messed up, and the 2nd straight up told me no. Thank you so much aamco!!

Great overall experience. Staff was excellent, the price was as quoted, and transmission was replaced in 3 days. I would recommend AAMCO of Pensacola to anyone who needs transmission work.

My son had car trouble, and AAMCO was able to do the diagnostic work. Even though it was non-transmission and a type of work that they weren’t not able to do, he was very helpful in getting me to the place where it could be repaired. Zach P was extremely helpful. Excellent customer service!

Can't believe all the 5 star reviews. On vacation to Ft. Walton recently and noticed my car wasn't driving as well as it should. Felt like a drive train issue so I took it in to Aamco to have it checked out. Diagnostics showed transmission shuddering(?) and misfire in two cylinders with no check engine light. I was told I needed a transmission rebuild and was totally shocked at the $6000.00 price tag!!! Zach had me by the balls since I was on vacation and needed to get the car fixed to get back home. He emailed a repair order to change the spark plugs and wires (no coil packs) in the amount of $700.00!!! Ridiculous. I declined on that one. Got the car back and was having slipping issues with the transmission. I replaced the plugs and wires myself and the car was running great and the slipping issue went away. I truly believe the misfire was the entire problem and the transmission was fine. Got taken pretty good especially when the internet is full of ads for rebuilt transmissions around $2000-$2500.

Review of AAMCO Transmission Service

I recently took my truck here some transmission issues, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, taking the time to explain the issues and the necessary repairs. Hopefully don’t have to use them again but will definitely be going back in the future!!
