Pretty sure I’ve rated them before and left a review but seems to be gone. Odd. Let me start by saying, they over charge you for terrible wifi, and charge you for a landline phone regardless if you use it. And they’re a monopoly because nobody else offers internet around here. It goes out often, and even when it works, you’re lucky to get half the upload and download speed promised. I’ve made multiple posts calling them out on Facebook in the past, and had left a review on there. Went to make another tonight, because surprise surprise, the internet is down. Well when I went to tag them, I noticed that it wouldn’t find them. So went to the search bar, and same result. Found them on my burner account however. So add silencing their detractors to the list of terrible business practices from this company. Apparently they just block anyone who tries to hold them accountable. I’d give it a 0/5 if I could, but it’s not like the ratings will affect anything because again, you have no real other options. And they’re well aware of that.

The internet is extremely slow and unreliable. Ours seems to go out about once a month, usually on a Sunday morning. Since we have church twice on Sunday, I don't have time to sit around waiting for a tech to come and fix it, so we're usually out of service until Monday morning.

Yelcot is the slowest, most unreliable, and most expensive Internet I've ever had to deal with.

They took my money said the order will be put in and will take 5 days for them to get out to install it and then they said last minute that we need an ID in their computer to even process it when they said nothing about it from the get go.. sent them two emails with the ID and said that they never got them… the way I see it they’re money greedy, liars, lazy and don’t want to do their job !

Monopolistic. I never get the speeds I pay for. Unreliable connection. Utterly apathetic support. This is the single worst ISP I've ever had the displeasure to encounter. Speeds under 1mpbs when I pay nearly $100 a month. Yelcot is the worst for throttling if you don't pay for the highest tier or live in mountain home where the family of the owners are. Nepotistic, apathetic, monopolistic, and irrefutably corrupt.

Every Yelcot employee we've ever dealt with has been extremely helpful & knowledgeable. They are timely with appts and call back quickly with technical or repair issues. Not many companies seem to value customer service anymore, but Yelcot has great customer service.

We here at Ivy Vacations want to give a huge shout out to Gary Williams & everyone at Yelcot Communications of Mtn View. We manage several vacation rental properties here in the Stone County area. As we all know, issues can happen any time of day and even afterhours. Their team is always quick to answer or give us a call back and do everything they can to help us with any issues we are having. We appreciate this so much because not only is this helping our company but its helping to make our guests happy. Happy guests help our whole community. They come back to Mtn. View year after year! They shop local, eat local, attend our festivals and events. So again, thank you Yelcot.

Got our cold customer service, quality greatly depends on who answers the phone. Internet outages regularly during weather events. Customer routinely blamed for outages when it ends up being a line issue. I would go with another option if there was an option in this area.

This having to pay for a landline phone to get WiFi is a ripoff.
