We had this place pinned to try for a while on one of our Mt Ida trips. We recently finally did and were so glad we came in. The manager is super friendly, we got to speak with the owner briefly on Veterans Day, who was also great to talk to. The food is absolutely amazing, with the best burgers we’ve had in a long time. Oh and those pies, my goodness are they just decadent! We’re on our third stop in Victory Pie Co. now, with it being our go to place for lunch whenever we come in to Mt Ida. Highly recommend! Especially if you’re a veteran.

Wow! Best breakfast I’ve had in a while. By far the best pancakes, eggs and hashbrowns in Mt. Ida., maybe south Arkansas. Wife had avocado toast and was delighted. The service was impeccable.

Really don’t like when businesses try and sneakily add on extra charges. Felt like I got ripped off here and would definitely suggest that you check your receipts. My veggie quiche I was charged an extra $1.50 for “an additional egg”? How do you add on an extra egg to a premade quiche? I never asked for that (how would you?) nor was it ever offered. They are premade, how would they have added another on? ? And my fiance’s burger (that was burnt to all hell) that was on the special board was suppose to come with a soda and was charged separate. They got an extra $5 out of us, which just imagine if they do this to every customers and nobody notices. Really uncool. Also my $15 quiche was smaller than the size of my hand, which made the experience even worse when it came out. All around would not recommend.

Everything on the menu is good, but the pies are a MUST TRY. All food is made fresh daily from scratch. Super impressed. We were in town for the weekend and we ate there twice ? Favorite little cafe in that part of the state.

We were planning on going crystal mining while in Hot Springs, so we found ourselves in Mt. Ida hungry. We were the first people in right at 8AM, and the owner was very patient while we asked all 80 million questions we had.

We ended up ordering 3 Victory Breakfasts (eggs, protein, and your choice of toast or pancakes. We got sourdough toast, white toast, and pancakes with ours), the Hashbrown Bowl, and the Kids breakfast.

Expect a little wait for your food since it is all made fresh to order. We all walked out with empty plates, and my kids enjoyed breakfast so much that they wanted to go back for lunch.

As an added bonus, a portion of our purchase went to our vets!
