From Oct 2021-March 2024 Eye Cloud Pro was really pretty reliable and great. I actually do love the software and ease of use. However the past few months has been awful. It seems there are more days the program is down and unable to use than up and running. It seems to be nation wide as most offices all go down at the same time and for the same length. Something has changed for sure and not for the better. Many support tickets have been sent from many, many offices. I want it to go back to being reliable. That's it.

Years ago I used to highly recommend ECP to other Drs. Since they sold the company a couple years back, there has been nothing but multiple outages impacting seeing patients, lack of communication, price increases, and strong holding into using certain merchants etc.

Every time there is an outage it truly impacts patient flow and business. I understand once in a while things happen, but every month there is now an issue, with poor communication during the outage as to what is going on and how long it’ll be down for.

If you’re in the market for a reliable EMR, look elsewhere before you’re stuck with this one. Pity, because the original founders made a really easy-to-use system, but that doesn’t help if it’s frequently down.

Having worked with a few different EHR software systems, I can easily say that EyeCloud Pro is the most efficient and intuitive software, by FAR. It’s easy to use and built specifically for eye care/optical. If you are looking for a streamlined system that saves TONS of time and increases productivity and efficiency, then seriously stop looking. You’ve just found it in EyeCloud Pro.
