Conway office desk lady said the quiet part out loud today. The website throws an error when I try to submit a claim on every computer, including the ones in the unemployment office. I try to show her this error and she says, "that's unemployment stuff I don't deal with that" Whatever THAT means... And then goes back to her phone call and rudely days "Anyways! Sorry about that Betty!" ...So I write a paper claim. Is told "no one is in the office to process paper claims for at least 5 days". Anyways, I wait days then proceed to check up on my claim due to my lack of trust in these folk- I call the 844 number (after on hold an hour) and they said the Conway office had no record I submitted a paper claim.

Proceed to the Conway office and desk lady says she never got a call. She then says!!!!, "The person I talked to was probably lying; they lie all the time to get you to hang up." She looks through a shoebox of paper and finds my claim- still sitting there. She then says there is still no one in the office to process claims until Thursday - this is on a Monday. Literally there are times where claims are sitting on a desk, for weeks, with no one working on them or planning to, and paper claims are THE ONLY OPTION WHEN THE WEBSITE NEVER WORKS.

Absolutely PURPOSEFUL OBSTRUCTION from this department. A waste of tax dollars and a spit in the face to those in need

Unemployment office in Conway, AR. shouldn't have cut staff in unemployment division. The office is only representing an outreach to job force or workforce agency. Waiting for a hour or longer for a question for the "hotline" is too long. Especially for those looking for a job. The "waiting for longer" wait times isn't right. My suggestion, hire someone local or more people at the "hotline" area. During a crisis like a job is big to those trying to pay bills. The search says call California to get additional help? In other words, after waiting hours on the phone, someone has time to get looped into more time to California?

Though the person I spoke to was very nice and helpful. I have not heard anything from anyone about my unemployment benefits. I filed four weeks ago. ?

All I get. Since 7:56 am is a busy dial tone. I understand there's a epidemic. But that phone line should not hang up on me automatically even if queue and call volume is high. Furthermore, I can't reach you first thing? This is absolutely trash on your phone system. Trash.

Absolutely not helpful at all. Everytime I call about a direct and specific question they tell me to call Little Rock. Not one person could help me on the phone or in person for simple questions. Useless. If you can go to another office, do so.

Unemployment manager is absolutely incredible, to me she is a hero. Just above and beyond any expectations or experiences I have had in the past with their staff being so short and rude. Not Diana Kirkdoffer, cannot brag enough on her or thank her for being so helpful.

The whole unemployment benefit system is completely useless. They purposely make you wait months before a decision is made and most often not will deny you regardless of circumstances. I'm confused as to why this system is even in place if it benefits no one but the employers and local offices.

I understand there is a lot of people trying to get unemployment but don’t mean you answer an hang up on people. People are losing Their jobs because of this Virus. And the last thing we need is no one helping us making sure we won’t be homeless.
