Best construction software out there! We've been using Construction Online for a few years to manage our business and projects and it just keeps getting better every year. They are always adding more tools like the new dashboards that help us see more information in a better way and faster than we could before. Plus, everything is just all online in one place so that keeps us organized and cuts down on chaos! If you are a builder or in construction at all, I would definitely recommend checking out Construction Online.

UDA was great 10+ years ago, when I started using their software. Since then has been a steady decline in services and steep incline in prices. Unless you're a $50M/yr company, don't bother. I have finally moved on.

UPDATE: This seems to have been deleted.....
We're a Federal Government GC and Mechanical Contractor and have been using the software for several months. We've provided a ton of hour to help their developers make the software more user friendly and even pointed out ridiculous mistakes that should have been found during the debugging or Beta phase. Almost every aspect of the software need redeveloping to make it more usable and beneficial to us. Its very wonky, not very user friendly (and I build computers and do the office IT) and in general is just not well throughout. To be honest, its just not ready for Prime Time, but the cost is approaching a ProCore or Submittal Exchange price and that’s absurd. They are light years ahead of this program. They do answer the phone most of the time when you call, but if the software causes your office to lose tons of efficiency because its just not a compete software package what good is a customer service department that’s there to help? This may work for a residential subcontractor or something like that, but if you want to compare it to the industry leaders ProCore or Oracle Submittal Exchange, this software just doesn’t have what it takes to be considered at all. We have given them many man-hours of development advise coming from our office of engineers, PM’s, estimators, etc. but it always falls on deaf ears. Its as if they are software developers primarily and Project Management is just an after thought that’s piecemealed together. The submittal process is very wonky and not the way it works in Corporate America in the commercial or industrial sectors. A lot of the process are frustrating to the max. You eventually find work arounds, but for the price (approaching ProCore or Submittal Exchange) why wouldn’t it complement your office. In short, if you do commercial, industrial, government, etc. contracting this isn’t the software for your company. The learning curve is steep, a lot of the processes don’t make much sense, the submittal portion is all manual meaning you’ll blow tons of man hours doing it manually and still be no better than if you used the MS suite of products, you can send feature requests to the developers, but to date NONE have been made and they are very basic features we’ve suggested. Will be moving to Submittal Exchange after our one year trial.

Good software for a small contractor or business that doesn't do large bidding projects. It is not capable of handling the heavy highway work I was lead to believe it could. I purchased it and canceled it after a year of trying to make it work. I highly recommend a trial period before purchasing.

I love the estimating , but the mobile app does not allow the schedule to be updated, you will need to log in on a desktop, or something more advanced that a smart phone, this might not be a big deal to you untill you have the field supervisors needing to run back to a main office to update a schedule . this would be a waste of several hours per day
