First, let me say that the hotel itself is actually really nice. It’s very clean. The staff is so helpful and friendly they make you feel completely comfortable, and they are extremely welcoming. |The rooms are well maintained and actually very beautiful. |The view from our room was amazing . | view of the beach & the pier just all around perfect. They have a great continental breakfast with all the fixings. | Definitely a five stars without question. ||(sidenote) to the management or the owner, just a personal observation,,,, You might wanna look into changing the beds out from firm to more medium. Just a personal observation..

The front desk clerk and the service crew are great. We had room 307. We were near the elevators, ice machine and water dispenser. The view was amazing and balcony was great. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The set up with micro and small fridge was perfect. The continental breakfast included a full breakfast and delicious tamales. The beach access was easy to get to. Lots of stairs. The restaurant Ventana Grill was right next door. The food at Ventana was delicious. We will definitely return and recommend the Shore Cliff Hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shore Cliff Hotel. This was our first time to Pismo Beach and we definitely picked the right hotel. The front desk staff were well-versed in their customer service skills - it was refreshing to see since so many businesses lack this quality.||We booked an oceanfront room and it did not disappoint. The room was recently updated, clean, comfortable, and spacious. ||My only negatives are the lack of water pressure in the shower and the breakfast buffet offerings. These are not deal breakers though as I would definitely return.

I was really happy with my stay here and it exceeded my expectations. The location was awesome and the view was beautiful. I stayed in a partial oceanview pet friendly room and I was worried about being so close to the pool but luckily I stayed during a quieter time of the week (Sunday-Tuesday) and it was so quiet and peaceful. I loved how all of the hotels were connected along the ocean with a walking path so I was able to walk my dog along a nice safe area with a view. A few hotels down, there is access to a staircase that leads down to the beach which I walked along one day to get into the town of Pismo. The hotel room was well equipped with everything you might need (water, microwave, fridge, pretty good toiletries, dog bowls) and it was very clean. The bed was comfy. The shower pressure was good. The bathroom had a lot of counter space with great lighting. I was a little disappointed to know that I couldn't sleep with the sliding door open because there was a humming noise from the pool equipment but it did not ruin my trip. The humming noise was also a little annoying when I was in the hot tub at night and wanted to listen to the waves. The ac/heat wall unit worked well. The pool was heated to a perfect temperature and the hot tub was really nice. Check-in was easy and the staff were incredibly friendly. Parking was straightforward and cheap. I tried the free breakfast one morning and was pleasantly surprised- I really appreciated the waffle making station. I did a lot of research of hotels in this price range before coming here and I am very happy with my choice and would definitely stay here again.

Great view and wonderful staff. Clean and closer to Downtown Pismo, which is about 2-3mins drive from the hotel!!!|Clean and great pool with ocean view. Rooms are also pretty clean and comfortable. Breakfast is served daily which is great for people that like to eat and save money, great for families!

Loved everything about it! Amazing views and super comfy bed! Enjoyed walking down to the beach and as a solo traveler I always felt very safe. The front desk people were super friendly and they allowed me to check in early and late check out as well. Breakfast was good too!

The room and location are nice. TERRIBLE service and communication from part of the staff hotel at the check-in and reservation.

First of all, after making the reservation directly on their website, I did not automatically receive confirmation emails from their system. I needed to email them back.

Then, no resort or parking fees are mentioned, and just for one night, I was charged $188.75 + $67.45 (resort fee!!) + $20 (parking fee!!) = $271.20 total (!!).

And it didn’t stop there. At the check-in, the employee didn’t inform me about a parking fee and also didn’t mention that if I used a different card from the one on the reservation, the $100 deposit would actually be held on top of the whole reservation!

So, another $371.20 was BLOCKED on my card for who knows how many working days in the middle of a long trip, completely messing up with my budget planning.

A total of $642.40 was wasted entirely for a short night stay, with no use of the resort and a horrible breakfast the next morning with fake eggs and taste.

Sorry, but I can’t recommend it at all.

Great location for awesome ocean/beach views, regardless of room location. The hospitality from staff and all of hotel crew was second to none. The swimming pool and the spa are very clean and well maintained It is also conveniently located close to several nice restaurants, not to mention downtown Pismo Beach and it's famous Pier. Highly recommend this hotel!
