DO NOT GO TECH 2U ROCKLIN! What they advertise over the phone is not true and I'm not sure how this company exists.

Let's talk about the "free diagnostic" that is advertised over the phone. When I heard that, I was sold, so I went to their shop the next day. When I arrived for the "diagnostic", they grabbed a different power cord and plugged it in. When it didn't power on, they said an actual diagnostic was $90. Apparently the "free diagnostic" is "external only", their words, not mine. Frustrated with the situation and short on time, I reluctantly leave my laptop with them. I tell them that the laptop powered on and immediately shut off. I personally replaced the battery so I believed it was probably the motherboard (remember this, it's important). They said okay and that they would call me in two to three business days.

After SIX business days, I CALLED THEM asking what's going on with the laptop and that they hadn't contact me in the two to three business days. If I didn't call them, I guess they would have just kept the laptop?

I spoke with Rob who had the audacity to tell me that he's not sure and that it's PROBABLY THE MOTHERBOARD! Wow. Thanks. It's almost like I told you the most likely problem and then you just repeated the exact same thing to me.

You didn't run any "tests" like you would do during a DIAGNOSTIC. When we talked about recommendations... you didn't have any! You couldn't find the Lenovo Ideapad 3's motherboard which I typed into Amazon.com and found the exact one immediately. It was the first option!

You wouldn't return the laptop to me unless I paid the $90 when you did absolutely nothing and then tried to convince me to pay $249 to copy/paste data from the laptop. I didn't need that and never asked for it. Not only was this a COMPLETE WASTE of $90 but you set me back six business days, which if you include the weekend, was eight calendar days.

1 out of 5 stars is more than this company deserves. Don't be like me. Find somewhere else.

Took my Desktop in to get it ready for Windows 11. They made recommendations which Were accepted. They preform the upgrade I requested. PC is now working fine and running Windows 11. These folks are great to work with and they keep you informed as repairs are made.

Rarely in today's world do I walk into a business and am blown away by the service. Jonathan at Tech 2U was awesome. My laptop [spinner] drive crashed- so we did a upgrade to a 1 TB SSD, then we upgraded the RAM. I also added a few monitors to mirror my home system. Screaming fast system and triple monitors on the go! Solid company. Solid tech. Thank you Jonathan!

Absolutely amazing service! Steven was incredibly fast and efficient checking out my son’s laptop. I wish it was an easy fix so I could pay him but it’s easier to get a new laptop. He did everything at no cost and even recycled it for me. Will be coming here for all my laptop/computer needs!

I'm a marketer and I work with a lot of local businesses. During a new website build there was a hiccup and an issue came up with the companies email. Tech2u was on top of it! I spoke with 2 different techs and both were very kind and professional.

Perry, who I dealt with the most, was quick, kind and patient and was quick to help get the issue resolved.

This was my first experience with Tech2u and I would happily recommend them to businesses who need to outsource a tech team.

Super friendly! Had such a simple problem (laptop battery needed to drain), that they didn't even charge me. My family has had good experiences with them in the past as well, when a desktop of ours got bricked after accessing the bios. Overall great, skilled service and kind people.
