As an Amazon driver, I very much understand the reason for them being in the vehicle, I have seen colligues not drive safe when they are not. I have a pretty good safety score personally and I feel. They do make the roads a bit safer!
My main complaint where I feel they can be a bit of a danger is with traffic light detection.
I absolutely agree people should not run red lights! However I feel like it flagging people for running lights due to a light that turned yellow then red WHILE they are in the intersection or about to enter with heavy truck momentum, with penalty of potentially loosing their jobs creates an insentive for drivers to brake check the person behind them, stop in the middle of the intersection, or gun the gas. Which is not safe at all!
I think it would be safer to give a small bit of leeway for people already in or just about to enter the intersection, and flag people for stale reds and not passing yellow that appeared before the solid white lines.

We kitted out our fleet with this product and after 2 weeks one of our trucks was hit by a negligent driver in the middle of the night. Only problem is you can download an hour our two at a time every week. So it was impossible to narrow down the timeframe that we were hit. We brought this up with the company and they were no help, being quite rude and needlessly officious and passive aggressive while dealing with us. We tried to cancel the service and would not allow us to cancel, trying to get us to pay for the full term of the contract even though we had discovered working 2 weeks the service was worthless.. Even though we had spend thousands installing this product in our trucks. Extremely unsatisfied. I do not recommend using this company at all.

The ai camera sucks!! It reports crap that has no value on a driver. I thought drivers were supposed to be trained to operate a commercial vehicle. A stupid camera an software will not bother an experienced driver. No one controls other vehicles being stupid.

Your drivers are parking EVERYDAY on my sidewalk and I will be calling a towing company if this happens again.

There is a note saying to not park there, and our building has a place where vans can park for pick up and drop off. So, there are no excuses, these people are being LAZY!

Not only they park for deliveries to our building, but they go over to all other buildings around, staying for a long time on our driveway.

Tomorrow, I will be calling a tow company if I can see your team again.

Not safe in my opinion, instead of my eyes being on the road, I'm constantly looking to make sure, I'm not over the speed limit by 3-5mph. Backing up into a busy intersection at only 3 mph is dangerous, if more than that, you get a violation. Weird, they say it's for our safety, I think NOT!!

From my experience their Camera gives close to 80/1 false alerts.
If you watch 80 alert videos maybe 1 has questionable driver behavior.
I get that they need to justify their existence but most of what they provide alert wise is a waste of time.

False infractions. Constantly having to get infractions dismissed . Camera is way too sensitive. You get flagged for yawning , having low eyes, being too still ect..

As everyone giving a review of the netradyne camera systems has posted a very accurate and true statement. This system has been in our trucks for 2 months noting but problems inaccurate scores false reporting from the cameras that's when they are even working personally I've had my camera inoperable for 2 weeks out of 2 months. And if you need to contact customer support good luck they are located in a foreign country and no help at all. Too bad you cannot give negative stars. This system sucks
