I've used Synoptix for several years and just added some training for some additional features we added for budget reporting purposes. I worked with Quinn who was a great instructor! He inquired about my current processes and what I wanted to change/implement, etc. He had great suggestions and walked me through making two new reports that after our training I built two additional reports. The training I received was great and look forward to working with Quinn/Synoptix in the future!

Before close of business the same day Quinn and I were on a video call where I was able to share my screen and he was able to immediately identify what I was doing wrong. I've used Synoptix for over two years and I consider myself the Synoptix evangelist in my organization. Before utilizing Synoptix I would have to hound my accounting department for weeks ahead of our quarterly meeting, hoping their data matched my other sources. Then I would spend hours cutting and pasting from multiple spreadsheets to get the information condensed into a couple of pages for my presentation.
Now I only have to enter a couple of dates and I have what I need and the data comes straight from the source.

Customer service from Synoptix is top notch. I was having an issue trying to combine reports so I booked a 1/2 hour session with Quinn and he showed me exactly what I needed to know, saving me even more time.
Having all my data at my fingertips has raised my profile at work as I can find any answer or data I need quickly for my superiors or other departments while other managers need hours or days to do the same.

The Financial Reporting Fundamentals session was a valuable refresher of the Synoptix tools. Learning of the drilldown feature will save a significant amount of time previously spent going back and forth between Synoptix and Colleague Finance. Awesome report builder--originally designed for financial reports, but very good for operational reports as well! Can build your own spheres/views, has drilldown capability. Better than Crystal in the sense that it is easy to get to the original SQL query and modify if needed. Has an "Excel feel" to the interface, and you can format reports to look great as well.

Very informative. I love these seminars, lets us pick up good tidbits of how to. Many of us have used this system from a prior user with just the basics. good to learn all it can do!
