My computer was running slow with blue screen errors. I Googled "Computer Repair" in my area, and Kendall Technologies came up with a 5-star rating. I called and spoke with the owner, Matt Kendall. He connected to my computer remotely and temporarily fixed the problem. The next day the computer started acting up again and after another phone call to him, he had me purchase a hard drive. I initially gave Kendall Technologies a good review like the other reviews until Matt had me purchase a hard drive at Amazon for $86.43 including tax and told me that when it arrived to give him a call and he would come over and install it. I called him the day it came in, and he told me he could come over the following day at 1 PM. At 1:50 PM I called him and asked where he was. He told me that he was working a job with multiple computers and could not get over until 5 PM. That evening he never showed up; no phone call, nothing. I had to send the hard drive back to Amazon minus the shipping charge of $7.08. Because of this, I must give Kendall Technologies a failing grade.
Rebuttal to "Response from the owner:" Matt, I did NOT receive a text from you. You don't even have my cell phone number. The number you have is my home number. The very least you could have done is called me directly; not done it as a text. This is SO juvenile! At the very least you should reimburse me for the hard drive shipping that I lost AND my inconvenience for taking the hard drive back to a UPS facility! Most other responses from owners are apologies for poor service, and an offer to make it right. And no, I am not “perfect” as you stated. I don’t know anything about computers, and that’s why I reached out to you. I only wrote this review to inform future potential clients who read reviews what to expect if they go to you for help with their computers.
