My nights stay was memorable due to one staff member who shines as bright as a a light. I have spent many nights in IHG hotels. The stay is above many. Beds are comfortable, room was very clean. The staff is professional and friendly. However, Ms. Eliza was my fav. She greeted each guess with a cheerful smile and offered her expert assistance. I never realized toasters had a button to pop up your toast. I usually pull the lever back up. Thanks Eliza, you taught an old dog new tricks, at least the three of us.

I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel if you are in the area, I actually drive 20 miles from my destination in order to stay at this hotel whenever I am coming for work; it is definitely worth the extra inconvenience of not quite being in the same city as I need to be but so very worth it. The staff, under the leadership of Denise, at the front desk is always extremely hospitable and very clearly great at what they do. I travel a great deal for work and finding a hotel that somewhat feels like home as always so important to me and this hotel does just that, it helps that I stay at this hotel so frequently but Denise and her team always do a tremendous job in ensuring my stay is far exceeding any expectation I might have for a hotel even in a much l larger city; highly recommend this hotel to everyone (just ask that you please don't book my favorite room haha)

It was ok, could stay again if nothing else is close. Don’t know what else is available. Had to request wash cloth. Great towels. Appreciated in room refrigerator, microwave. Good bed, fair lighting, fair attempt at blackout curtain, clean, were able to get rested (our main goal) before next leg of trip. Checkout 11am, so start shower VERY EARLY, schedule time for light rain type shower drops to wash off slick soap from dove bottle. Prefer a hot and fast shower and leisurely breakfast. Breakfast was mostly taken away over a half hour early, was cool coffee (microwaved it, so ok), cereal, milk and juice, Yogurt, cool “turkey sausage” pattie, cool dry folded egg like item with veg or cheese specks, make a pancake, biscuits and cool gravy, Muffin. Expected a hot breakfast or at least a cold boiled egg. Took a few photos about 15 minutes BEFORE end time. Wasn’t much better when we got there earlier. Next time-Will look for less expensive location, hope for better water pressure and at least comparable to the other nice things we experienced, and bring protein or pay elsewhere for higher protein breakfast after we leave. Would recommend with these thoughts in mind but could only choose yes or no,

This hotel experience began with a friendly and helpful reception at the front desk. The check-in process was fast and efficient, and our room was ready for us when we arrived. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The amenities were more than adequate, with good wi-fi, and a nice TV. The beds were comfortable and everyone rested well. The breakfast was excellent and included fresh fruit as well as hot pancakes with a good cup of coffee.

If you need a place to stay in Wharton and you are able to afford it, go here. The location is convenient- just a hop skip and jump from Walmart and Bucees! It has a Denny's and Whataburger next to it as well. Just down the street is a awesome Soul Food place (a little pricey) but worth it! The staff here was amazing. I got locked out of my room, and while we had a delightful chuckle about it, I was given another key to help me get in. The breakfast was good, I was just hoping for bacon but the staff member was on top of replenishing everything and putting fresh food. This is my go-to spot whenever I have business in Wharton!

Our stayed at this hotel was great, the 2 king bed suite was very spacious and big enough for our family of 5. The breakfast was also good, we enjoyed the bacon and the biscuits and gravy,kudos to the breakfast area staff, both ladies we interacted with were very friendly more so the one on Monday January 20th 2025. the housekeeper crew was very friendly and helpful as well. Great stayed all around. Thank you!

We stay at Holiday Inn a lot and although the hotels are clean and convenient, the service isn’t consistent across the hotels we’ve been to. Sometime the service is great and sometimes the service is mediocre. ||The hotel room at Wharton was spacious and very clean. Sadly, the service wasn’t the best. No friendly greeting, We needed to use the laundry and needed quarters to operate washing machines etc, I asked reception and the lady at the desk said she if she gave me some quarters she wouldn’t have any left for herself.. I asked her advice on how to get some and she suggested I go across to the burger place of which I did, but they wouldn’t give me any either. On my return, I mentioned that I didn’t have any luck at the burger place and the lady at reception didn’t even respond. ||On checkout, another lady at reception barely acknowledged us which was kind of disappointing. ||We’ve been to this hotel before and the service was good. We love staying at Holiday Inns because the rooms are generally so spacious and clean. The only problem across the chain is the inconsistencies with customer service. ||I would still recommend you try this hotel but if you want to use laundry, , take some quarters and be open minded when it comes to the service.

The front desk folks were very friendly and courteous. The room very clean and neat and the bath was spotless. The breakfast was great and the eating area was clean. I will definitely stay here again.
