The courthouse and surrounding buildings are telling us their glory past. Very clean and quiet streets, but many buildings appeared vacant and in need of rebuilt or repair.

Very nice courthouse in Wharton, Texas. A little known fact is small town courthouses are one of the best public restrooms during business hours. The added bonus is the beautiful architecture and history of the buildings. And if you are really lucky you will find a local that wants to tell you all about it!

Very clean area and pet freindly on the yard. Trashcans all around outside with nice benches, too. Absolutely lovely at night and during the Christmas times due to all the lights.
