My AC went out in the hot summer I called Derek he told me he had one he would sell me a refurbished one for $500 I told him okay
he came out he put it in and it was not vented to my room or any other vents in my RV. I was under the impression that the AC would work just like the other one except it would be a refurbished unit it started leaking water he said he would come back and look at it it took him several days to get back and when he did he went on top of my RV came back down and told me it was my roof my old AC didn't leak he said my AC had a valley around it. It drips inside on my floor and also right in front of the door that comes into my living room.
I ask how much would he charge to come back and Vent the AC so I could have some air in my bedroom he told me another $500
Derek was going to charge me another $500 to do that because why because I am a single woman and did not know any better and at the time both of my sons were out of town.
My son came over today and in about 2 hours had my air conditioner vented to all the vents in my RV. But the unit still leaks water on my floor and always has. It has taken me a long time to write a review on Derek because I didn't want to give him a bad review but when my son got through today and all he had to do uncover two holes that were taped in the unit I had to let people know I could not handle that part going to charge me $500 to uncover two holes that he had tape on.
Everybody just be careful out there there is some cold-hearted money hungry people out there.

Do not confuse Derek with David. Two different companies. Derek repaired problems no one else could find in the year and half I have owned my rv. He was prompt and knew his stuff and did not charge an exhorbitant rate. Highly recommend D's. Glad I found him.

I paid Derek $180 to tell me my water heater was leaking, which I already knew. He gave me a estimate of $250 for labor and I would supply the heater. I called him four days later to tell him I had the heater and he never responded. I tried 2 more times and have never heard from him. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Derek came out and inspected slide out and we ordered the part. Super nice guy. I ordered the part he asked for and when Part came in it was excuse after excuse getting him back out to make the repair for weeks. 3 times he told me he was coming and never showed each time. the 4th time he couldnt come because of heat even though ac was on and waiting for him. I finally gave up and got someone else. Unreliable and poor communication. I do not recommend.

I call for a repair man to fix a water leak on my RV, David came out ( or Derrick ) I have a feeling they are one and the same. the first time he was out he told me he needed money to buy parts. So I gave him fifty dollars. He came back a few little connectors. He told me he had to go to Porter to get the parts. I left as soon as he left, I left to to go to Walmart, He was back just a few minutes after I returned. If He drove Porter he flew. Ok to make a long story short He couldn't get it fixed so I told me it would be best to replace the pipes. He would need $150.00 to buy the pipe. This was on Sat. He told me he would get the pipe and fix it on Sun. This is Tues., I haven't heard from him since. Also haven't heard from my money. I gave him a $160.00 because I had no change. He is not answering text or Phone calls, not even in his home. The moral of this story is don't give him money for parts, you will never see him again. Nettie Runyon

I've been using Derek for years. I met him when he worked with a prior mobile repair company. I tried for years to get him to do my jobs without calling this guy that he worked for; however, his ethics shined through at that time because he would not accept any side work. Now that he's on his own, I am thrilled. He has always done a professional job and recommended the cheaper alternative rather than trying to take advantage of you. If you need repairs done this is your man.

IF I COULD LEAVE 10 STARS I WOULD! After trying everything we could to get our electronic levelers to go up and failing, we realized we had a big problem. Our camp host gave us Derek's number. Although we called on a Sunday morning, he picked up the call immediately with a friendly and professional greeting. Derek helped us problem-solve options with great detail to avoid a costly mobile visit or tow. He stayed on the phone while we tried all of the options and we were able to find a solution that worked. With only the make and model of our RV and our leveling system, he was able to help us navigate solutions. I cannot even express the relief we felt when the levelers came up. In the end, Derek would not accept any compensation for the call despite spending more than 30 minutes with us on the phone. He is helpful, friendly, professional, and a breathing encyclopedia of RV mechanics. Look no further for your mobile RV repair needs! Thank you, Derek!!
