I highly recommend Jairo and his team at Newport County Computers. Mark and Jason helped me out with a new custom-built PC that wasn’t booting Windows properly. I had already spent hours trying to fix it myself, and they had it up and running in under an hour. The service was fast, professional, and the price was very fair for the quality of work. Definitely the go-to spot for computer help!

Thieves! I needed to get a repair done that required no work from NCC other than coordinating shipping my laptop to apple, and they marked it up 50%!!! I called Apple and saved $150 just doing it myself. I get needing to mark up something but 50% is extreme for barely lifting a finger. No good! Tried to shop local, but I still have a brain...

The first time I went service was great. Guy fixed my problem in five minutes, didn't charge me.

Since I had a good experience previously I took it back when it started having the same problem. They called me back to tell me that what they did was flip a switch and reboot it. Then they tell me that they call l close at 5, so there's no way I can have it today. Then they tell me it's $50.

$50 to flip a switch, reboot, and not pick it up same day when it's ready.

I'll go find a middle schooler next time and give them a $20

All I can say is AWESOME!
I had gone to the Apple Store at the Providence Place Mall because my 27” iMac had failed. The Apple Genius I had was super cool and helped to diagnose the issue but then told me that they would be able to check in my computer because it was a late 2012 model. However, he was good enough to send me to the PERFECT place! Besides, they are Authorized Apple-Certified Geniuses themselves. So I was happy.
I called and spoke to Jason and Ben and they said absolutely, we can help you. Come on in!
I went down the following day, checked my computer in with Jason and Ben spoke with me to find out exactly what the issue was and what my options were.
So I agreed to have my failed Fusion drive with an SSD hard drive and I left the store and headed home.
About an hour later, Ben called and told me my computer was just about done and wanted to know what version of the OS I wanted on it. I agreed on what he suggested and told him I’d pick it up the following day and thanked him.
Today, I went back and picked up my iMac and brought it home. It’s amazing, it’s running BETTER than it was before the old drive failed. It’s so quiet and fast!
AND, the price was VERY reasonable. I was so happy to get my computer repaired for a fair price instead of having to buy another one. This was an expensive computer when it was new and the newer (2019) comparable 27” iMacs had the same specs. Soooo, I want to use this thing until it can’t be used any longer.
If you have ANY Apple/Mac issues I HIGHLY recommend Newport County Computers (NCC). I met a couple of other techs there today when I went to pick up my machine and they were also very nice.
If I could give NCC 10 stars I would, but it’s only a 5-star rating system. 😉

Gave these guys what I thought was an impossible task - retrieve data from the HD of a very old, broken down Mac. They did it. Quickly. And for a fair price.
Forget Apple at Providence Mall...always a pain in the butt in my experience. Give NCC a shot. My money's on that they'll be able to help you.

I was having storage issues with my Samsung Tablet and was having a difficult time finding someone to help. Luckily I gave NCC a call and they were willing to take a look and try and diagnose the issue. Ben went right to work trying to see what was causing the storage problem he advised me to leave the tablet as it was taking longer than he had hoped. I was on my way home and received the call that he had figured out the issue. Needless to say I was very happy. NCC took the time when no one else could be bothered and what I was charged was extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend them and definitely return there for any other problem that might occur
