We asked Chef Riley O'Dette from Elite Personal Chefs to prepare a dinner for us on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of our first date. We told him we'd love to have a meal resembling the tasting menus we used to order in the restaurants where we had our best dinners before health reasons stopped us from going out, and we described some of the dishes that stood out in our memory. He came through with flying colors. He's a very personable guy who obviously enjoys cooking for people who appreciate his work, easy-going, but meticulous in preparation and execution. He arrived on time, served us a tasting menu that exceeded our expectations with its quality and creativity, and cleaned up without leaving a spot. I won't give you the whole menu, but I will mention the Arpège Egg with Maple & Persimmon; Mushroom Bisque with Hen of the Woods Mushrooms, Quail Egg & Leek; Scallop with Parsnip, Vanilla & Hazelnut; Filet of Beef with Braised Carrot, Cafe de Paris & Dill; and Clafoutis with Cherry, Almond & Amaretto for dessert. Not cheap, but worth every last cent and then some. It would be hard to do any better than he did.

We had the pleasure of using Elite Person Chefs and having Chef Michael Izzard, Lola Celi prepare a private dinner for my sister’s 40th birthday, and it was nothing short of amazing. Every course was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and thoughtfully curated. The dishes were not only visually stunning but also a perfect balance of taste and texture—truly a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

The wine pairings, selected with the help of Amy Yancey, Sommelier(Pocket Somm), elevated the entire experience, complementing each course seamlessly. The attention to detail, from the flavors to the plating, made for an unforgettable evening.

If you’re looking for a top-tier private dining experience, I highly recommend Chef Michael Izzard, Lola Celi and Amy Yancey . Their expertise, professionalism, and passion for great food and wine make them a fantastic choice for any home event. We would absolutely book them again!

*side note* a few things I wanted to learn to cook was Indian food and seafood and working with soups/stew! And bam!!! Like that, chef Kai had this awesome idea for an Indian inspired seafood stew!!!! Absolutely delicious and speaks highly to how creative and talented they are and just how much knowledge there is to be learned by them!!! Look how delicious that looks!!! I can’t wait to make it again!!!

Thank you Chefs Sam and Dan for the fantastic experience these last several months! We initially reached out shortly after the arrival of our third child when keeping home-cooked meals on the table was a priority but materially harder with the chaos of a newborn in the mix. Chef Rachel worked with us for a dinner party. Everything about the experience was easy and sweet. It was super easy communicating with Rachel via email/text and over the phone. She incorporated our ideas into the menu she built for us and cooked a delicious family-style dinner that everyone enjoyed. She's also incredibly sweet and easygoing. I got her name from a friend who highly recommended her and honestly, I would do the same - hence why I am writing this review.

Some time ago, I had the pleasure of hiring Chef Eric Weiss as my personal chef. From the moment we started working together, he demonstrated professionalism and creativity.
Because of my high blood pressure, I needed low salt meals. Chef Eric has been very reliably delivering a variety of meals that are low salt, well balanced and of consistent quality. He has been responsive to my requests for my favorite foods.
Punctual and organized, he handles everything from grocery shopping to delivery, allowing me to fully enjoy the dining experience without any hassle.
I am constantly impressed by Chef Eric’s creativity in the kitchen. He regularly introduces new dishes, keeping my meals fresh and exciting. His ability to incorporate seasonal ingredients and unique flavor combinations is very good.
Hiring Eric as my personal chef has been one of the best decisions I've made, and I look forward to many more delicious meals in the future.

Flew into Chicago over the weekend for a friend’s party, who had hired Chef Rachel in association with EPC. My husband and I travel a lot and I can easily say she made some of the best food we have eaten anywhere! Not only that, but we loved her vibe and she was so much fun to spend time with. We will definitely be figuring out a way to fly her to us for any of our special occasions in the future. I wish she was around to cook for and hang out with us all the time. If you have the opportunity to get Chef Rachel to cook for you, consider yourself lucky!
