Never had a bad meal from Mario’s. The pizza is excellent and so are the cheese steaks. If you suffer from gluten intolerance their GF pizza is the best around. If you find yourself in the Cape May area in need of a great slice Mario’s is the place. Never had an issue with service. The only negative thing I can say is the fries were soggy, but a few min in the air fryer crisped them up to golden perfection. Keep up the great work!

Mario’s Pizza is the freshest pizza joint in Cape May, I want to say you don’t have to pay for parking if your there for less than 30 minutes which is totally dank! The pizza was so good we also had it for breakfast! The Neapolitan Margarita Pizza was A1 and the Cheese Pizza sealed the deal! So if your ever in the Cape May area, stop my Mario’s for some banging fresh pizza!

Finding good pizza (or passable bagels, for that matter) in Cape May has long been a losing battle. I ordered takeout from Mario's last night, and won't be doing so again.

This restaurant needs better quality control. Upon returning home, I discovered our chicken Caesar salad lacked any dressing.

As for the pizza, our "the works" was obviously a cheese pie with ingredients added on after the fact. Pale red pepperonis and still-crunchy bell peppers were a particularly frustrating sight and required the whole pie to go under the broiler for several minutes, at which point the cheese and crust were pushed into the well-done range. Ordering takeout shouldn't necessitate playing chef again once you get home.

Summer crowds can be stressful, and it's a pandemic, but the top pizza place in any town should be able to do better.

Atmosphere and service are lovely. Mart is welcoming, polite, and helpful. When we went it was a little busy, so mart told us food from the kitchen would be 20-25 minutes, but it flew by since the garlic knots (to die for), salad and bread came out very quickly. Food is solid, and the outdoor seating is lovely on a breezy summer evening (if the seagulls keep quiet)

I don’t see how people rate the pizza so high. Tastes like Ellio’s pizza also too much cheese.
1st and last time here. Ordered a plain pie… Also what’s with all the pizza boxes. I guess they don’t storage because cases of soda and outside umbrellas are in dining area…

Leaving this 5-star review as a direct response to Christine’s review from a couple of days ago. The atmosphere in there was great and the pizza was fantastic. They nail the old pizza shop aesthetic. We will definitely be back.
