We have been using GB Commerce for a while now and it has been a smooth ride, especially when it comes to shipping single pieces. Our shipping costs have significantly reduced since signing up with GB Commerce, at least by 10-12%. The GBC team has been incredibly responsive in fixing any issues and always available to help us. Initially, we were skeptical about switching to a new software solution, but the team at GB Commerce quickly proved to us the value and efficiency of their platform.

We've been using GBCommerce for over a year, and it has made a huge difference in how we manage our business. We started small, but as our volume grew, GBCommerce kept pace without missing a beat. The Marketplace Integration and real-time inventory updates across all our stores have been critical in maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

The platform is user-friendly and adaptable, with competitive rates that make it a great value. On top of that, we're saving an average of 10% on shipping costs with every order, which has had a significant impact on our bottom line. What truly stands out is their exceptional customer support—they’re attentive, responsive, and always ready to assist. GBCommerce offers everything you need in a reliable service provider!

Horrible. The software itself seems to have some potential, but it's very limited, which isn't helped by sales people that will promise the world and a support staff that can't deliver on those promises. I honestly can't tell if they are so big that a small company falls under their radar, or if they are so small that even the most minor requirements can't be met.

In our case, we signed up with GB Commerce because we were ready to graduate from Zoho to a more robust inventory management software. This seemed like it was what we wanted - and what it lacked, we were told repeatedly that they could customize it for our needs.

Six months later, the software still wasn't set up for us to even use in the most basic way, even though our credit card was charged monthly. Emails kept promising that functions would be complete but they never were, long periods of time would go by without any communication at all (they were in India half the time, one guys was sick for awhile...things just never got done).

Finally, when we had had about enough, I sent an email detailing every remaining need that we had and asking for deadlines for each line item. Even getting a response to something as basic as that was a nightmare. And when a follow-up email detailed additional needs that we had - needs that would be required for us to use the software effectively, we were basically told they couldn't do it. So the promises of being "customizable" were nothing but empty promises to get us to sign a contract.

In the end, GB Commerce wasted 6 months of our time, set us back considerably in our business and cost us money that we'll now have to use lawyers to try and recover.

There are better software providers that provide far better customer service than GB Commerce. Avoid!

UPDATE: Besides my new review that I left providing an update to this situation, I'd like to point out something I find funny: In my initial review, I wrote "Even getting a response to something as basic as that was a nightmare" - it's very telling, then, that their reply to this review came 7 months after the fact, was completely misleading and offered no solutions (they say I rejected their offer to repay us - untrue. They admitted they were wrong, promised they would repay us, spent months making excuses for why they never actually sent a check, and then try to low ball the repayment in the 11th hour). I think that sums up GB Commerce pretty adequately.

Please note: I wrote the earlier 1-star review of GB Commerce. This latest review is to provide an update of events since then:

After leaving my review, we considered taking legal action against GB Commerce, but ultimately, decided against it - unfortunately, $4,000 simply wasn't enough to make it worthwhile as legal fees would likely cost more than we would recoup.

So we moved on. But then in May (2024) I received a call from a man named Rishi, claiming to be a "friend" of Amar, who is the CEO of GB Commerce (my guess is that Rishi is an investor, but I don't know that for sure). He said that Amar acknowledged that they were wrong, and wanted to provide a refund. I told him that I appreciated that, and once we received the refund, I would consider us made whole, and I would removed the review. I thought that was fair.

I reached out to Amar to ask if the call was legitimate, and he said

"Hi Jay,

Yes, he is a close friend of mine and often assists me with various matters.

I am currently working on processing your full refund."

That was in May. I'm not sure how long it takes to cut a check, but two months later, when no check had been sent, I sent him another email saying:

Amar

Still no refund. I’m confused - if you weren’t intending to refund us, why have your friend ot investor call at all?

He responded five days later saying:

Hello Jason,

I will call you by tomorrow
Yes I wanna process refund. Please allow us until next week

Once again, however, GB was just playing games and wasting my time, because no check was sent, Instead, I got another call from Rishi in early August. This time, they were ready to cut a bank check (he promised that he would txt me a picture of it later that day), and would like to meet with my in person to give it to. I said I didn't need to meet - we just wanted the refund. He said fine, and asked for an address where he could drop it off (we are both located in NJ).

Not feeling comfortable with his seeming insistence that we meet in person or that he "drop it off", I gave him my partner's address in Arizona, and connected them via text. My partner sent him evidence that we paid GB Commerce $4,000. Rishi told us that he would relay that back to Amar.

That was nearly 2 weeks ago, and still no refund check was sent - and new txts trying to ask about it went unanswered.

On August 10, Amar sent me an email offering to refund the "subscription" amount. He didn't specify what that amount was, but obviously he was looking to pay less than the $4,000 that he owes us - a cheap tactic at the eleventh hour, after he and his investor had already admitted that we were in the right and promised to pay us.

I explained that I wasn't interested in anything less than the full amount. And I also explained that if they didn’t refund the full amount, I would provide a new review with an update to showcase the games GB Commerce is playing - further wasting my time. Amar’s reply was that if I wanted to play this out publicly. He would have no choice but to reply to my reviews, and give his side of the story.

I was fine with that, since I’ve been noting but patient with them, and they have failed time and time again to provide any kind of quality product or service. So I told him that that would be fine.

This is a dishonest company. Even after they admitted they were wrong, and promised a refund, they did nothing but continue to play games and waste my time.

Google won't allow me to post screenshot e-mails, but I'll post them on LinkedIn and other platforms for all to read.
