I never write trip advisor reviews - but I felt compelled to after our lovely stay. We are a family of 3. The resort was extremely family friendly without feeling like a “family resort”. Meaning we, the parents, enjoyed ourselves as much as our toddler did. We had a garden terrace suite and it was perfect for us, convenient, spacious, and reasonably priced in my opinion. The beach was so easy to navigate with a toddler, as was the pool. The pool was so much nicer than I thought - they need more pictures online! The pool side bar was also so enjoyable. Get the orange crush and Strawberry daiquiri! All the employees were so kind and welcoming. Our first night we spilled a bottle of milk on our bed and housekeeping cleaned up in less than 15 mins. The bartenders and front desk staff were also very helpful and kind. We will be back!

No beach service, though this is advertised even after Labor day, it's all self service and limited staffing at the Rusty Nail but the food was good. Smoke from the firepits and maybe from the restaurant too is extreme. Hard to sit on the balcony as the fumes are overwhelming.

It is very overpriced for what you get. It’s a glorified motel- no spa or resort feel but that is how it is priced. Our most recent stay we were put right next to the laundry room which is running all night so our room was very bright and loud. This was our third year here and sadly won’t be returning for this reason and for the fact that it is entirely overpriced for what it’s worth.

We stayed in an ocean terrace room to celebrate our wedding anniversary last weekend. Spent the better part of two days with an incredible view of the ocean from the super comfortable king bed. The new construction oceanfront building is fantastic. Finishes are great. Never were bothered by noise from neighboring rooms. The private porch is huge - seats 4 comfortably. Hotel staff were friendly and housekeeping did a great job keeping our room clean and stocked. ||Mainly writing this review bc the hotel website is really lacking on pics and details about the rooms. Entrance to the room had a coat closet w safe and a small kitchenette - undercounter fridge, bar sink, microwave, keurig, assortment of drink ware. Bathroom was plenty big for a couple. Might be cramped with 4 people in the room. Big shower, good water pressure. Plenty of storage in the vanity. King bed in the main room with a dresser, wall hung smart TV, loveseat, coffee table and separate armchair. Private outdoor space w 2x plywood fabric chairs and 2x poly wood rocking chairs. ||Highly recommend the Ocean Terrace room!

The food was decent! The staff was great and mostly attentive. I didn’t get pics of the food as we were starving and totally forgot. Got the steak sandwich (it’s Philly steak) semi disappointed. The chicken tacos were delicious!!! Wish I got chips and one of the dips :/ the seating area choices are so cool.

I went with my wife in April for our daughter’s anniversary. Must say the place has improved a great deal! Although pricey, the price tag is most definitely worth it due to the facilities included and how friendly the staff are! Had a lovely young gentleman ask if he could be of assistance to my wife who has become hard of hearing in the years. The place is extremely accessible which is definitely a new change.

We love the Beach Shack. We go several times a year—off season—when the dogs can enjoy the beach. The staff is friendly and welcoming. And the live music from the Rusty Nail is always great.

Overall, this property is not up to what I expect are the standards of other Cape Resort properties. The rooms are decorated very well, but tired and need maintenance (cracking ceiling, faucet didn't fit the sink, ants in the room). The location is excellent for walking distance to restaurants and shops. We had two disappointing service issues: at check out time (11am) on a Saturday, the valet was nowhere to be found so we were not able to load our car or leave. We had to go to the reception twice to find someone to get a valet. Also, after checkout we were told we could continue to use the amenities such as the pool and beach service. We went to the beach and when we came back to drop off our beach tags we asked if there was a bathroom we could use. The two gentlemen at the desk hesitated, then directed us to the bathroom at the Rusty Nail which was very dirty. Afterwards, my husband went to the pool to fill up a water bottle before getting in the car, and he saw that there were very nice bathrooms there. I'm really disappointed that they didn't direct us there; it felt like we were not being treated well as guests.
