What a fantastic experience! I’ve been to Salem and I swear it rivaled the ghost tour there! I loved our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable. I’m actually going back in a couple weeks. It was that good.

We did the Ghost Tour guided by Bob and it was an amazing experience. His knowledge of the houses and property was incredible and it was one of the best tours we’ve done in Cape May. A definite “don’t miss!”

We stopped by this village on our way to Wildwood and I’m so glad we did. The staff working are so nice and knowledgeable. It’s a great place to explore and learn about the fascinating history of the area. Recommend that everyone visits if they are nearby. Oh and definitely get a cold beer from the brewery after your tour, they had a band playing live music.

A visit to the Village is time well spent. Each stop has a live history buff ready to share a plethora of their knowledge and visual demonstrations and reenactments. For example at the Tinsmith stop our host was making tin lamps to sell at the gift shop. He happily demonstrated how to do that using the tools from that time period. There was also a wood worker, book binder, potter, printer, blacksmith, etc. We were lucky to catch the Sunday brunch buffet at the restaurant. Put the Village on your must see list if visiting Cape May!

We went to historic cold spring village for the first time this past weekend with our 7 and 5 year old kids. Purchasing tickets online was very easy. Parking was close to the entrance. The staff from the ticket booth and all throughout the village were so friendly and helpful. The kids were excited about the interactive learning experience, even though it probably didn't feel like learning! We will definitely go back. The kids keep asking when that will be. 😊

Cute little historical place. I got to see inside of the old buildings and learning the history, as well as how people lived. Live demonstrations of crafting and sometimes even hands on learning. They always have cool events going on too. I went to the lunar Faire, but there's plenty of other weekend events throughout the year. I believe there's also a restaurant and brewery there on the grounds, but I have yet to check those out.

Historic village open to the public all year long. Special events throughout the year. All of the older structures on site have been brought to the village to display. Some buildings of note are the country store, school house, the inn and the blacksmith shop. Ask for Levy, he’s a good ole horse that takes happy visitors around the village in a cute carriage. Great place to explore, have fun and get historical vibes.

We attended their military timeline and it was outstanding. Reenactors from the Revolutionary War up to and including World War II were set up all throughout the village and gave wonderful demonstrations of soldiers life in their time periods. The village itself is set in the 1830s with a Blacksmith, Tinsmith, Meeting House, Printing Shop and a Pottery shop. Horses pigs chickens and goats are found throughout the village. There was a schoolhouse, a set of stocks, a general store, a basket weaver and even shoemaker store. In the General store you can buy handmade objects from the blacksmith or the tinsmith. I highly recommend this place to see how life was lived in the middle of the 19th century.
