Came here during the off season in February. Got a tan caramel surfer iced and a BEC on a salt bagel. Took about 5 min for the coffee and another 5 for the sandwich. It was delicious! Was pretty quiet as a week day in February but I can see why it gets busy during the summer!

This is a no for me**

**Wait Time:** Initially, my bagel with cream cheese was promptly prepared by the attentive girls at the front counter. However, things took a turn when my pork roll egg and cheese sandwiches failed to materialize even after 23 minutes. After inquiring, I decided to cut my losses and requested a refund. Unacceptable delay for a basic sandwich.

**Staff:** The girls at the front counter were kind and attentive, providing good customer service. However, the kitchen needs serious improvement in turnaround time. Waiting over 20 minutes for a simple egg sandwich is unreasonable.

**Cleanliness:** Unfortunately, cleanliness was a major issue. I noticed visible mold in the fridge and even on the bathroom floor. This was highly off-putting and contributed to my decision not to return (see photos).

Overall, my experience at Avalon Coffee was disappointing. Despite friendly service from the front counter staff, excessively long wait times and poor cleanliness standards make it a place I wouldn't recommend or revisit.

Absolutely a great place for breakfast, lunch, some pastries, great coffee, whatever. Food is very good, coffee is fresh and really delicious, went ahead and bought me a bag, and they ground it up for me. Had breakfast 🍳 and it was good, 6 eggs Sunnyside up, and every yoke was spot on. Toast was good as well, I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone whom lives here, or is visiting. Even the owner is very nice and talkative, and there is dining inside as well with plenty of space. Oh, the bathrooms are kept up well and clean.

Finding the perfect bagel is a true gift and Avalon Coffee Co provides.

The boiled NJ style bagel is a must grab while in town. Hidden within the crunchy exterior is a light and fluffy interior. We had the chocolate chip and blueberry, both delicious. They make their own cream cheeses, so we opted for the Cinnamon Walnut Raisin cream cheese. It was super light and they don’t skimp on the amount. I love a good bagel slathered with cream cheese! I mean look at this beauty!

I look forward to trying more bagel and pastries they offer. The giant muffins almost swayed me to ditching the bagel, but I’m glad I stuck with it. Absolutely delicious.

It’s a packed house, so expect to wait for your food. Worth the wait!

My mom and I were thrilled when we learned that our hotel offered room service! I ordered and 30 minutes later we get an email saying our order was cancelled.

It’s one thing to cancel the order for unforeseen circumstances, but to clown around and do it 30 minutes later is a special kind of unprofessional.

Mark my words, by the time my family comes back to the Wildwoods in May, Avalon Coffee will no longer have a delivery contract with all the hotels…

I went with my boyfriend this morning at their new location in the Shoprite Plaza - they were awesome!

Fresh, yummy bagel breakfast sandwhiches... we also got a sticky bun and coffee. Very good, very clean, super convenient.

We will be back!

The "award-winning" bagels were decent for this far away from NYC... however when we went (September '23) they seemed to be having a lot of problems: no AC in the place (doors open + fans weren't really cutting it in the late summer heat) + toaster was completely broken. Unless super fresh, bagels need toasted, yo!
Fortunately the staff were super nice and friendly.

Coffee: my iced blueberry latte was not very good, but they had other fun-looking flavors i would be interested in trying if i was around the way again.

I normally rather do this is person, but you guys need to fire your cook. These are not scrambled eggs. This is an omelet chopped up. When I was 16 I severed someone eggs at a restaurant u worked at, that looked like this, I almost got fired. It is unimaginable that an adult feels that this is presentable. Just so you can learn something today, when you pour the egg on the flat top, as it cooks use a fork to fluff the eggs, and they won't come out looking like burnt garbage. I have been here 6 times and out that 6, I have gotten the same thing 5 times and it has never looked the same twice. As a cook your only two jobs in to be consistent and put out quality food. Your cooking staff is missing both. Save yourself the time and find somewhere else.
