We’ve been regulars at Mud Hen since they opened. They run the place like a well oiled machine. The service is great and the beer is really good. The food, however, has gone downhill in a bad way. The prices have gone up a lot and you would expect the quality and food portions to match but they don’t. Every dish that was great a few years ago is now mediocre at best. It’s a shame because the atmosphere is so great.

We had dinner here for my birthday and it was very nice and relaxing! Amazing service, atmosphere and food! The band was great! I would HIGHLY recommend. We will definitely be back. We had pretzels and onion rings for our appetizer and then the pulled pork sandwich and Mac & Cheese. We finished with some delicious desserts! Thanks again for making my birthday celebration fun!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Mudhen Brewery the night before our wedding, which also happened to be Halloween, so we decided to turn it into a costume party. From the very beginning, their event packages were reasonably priced, and the event coordinator, Ply, was fantastic. She assured us that they would take care of the decorations, but I didn’t expect much given that rehearsal dinner decorations weren’t a top priority for me.

To my surprise, when we arrived, the venue was beautifully decorated! The space was warm, inviting, and had a festive Halloween vibe that was perfect for our costume party. Everyone thought I had done the decorations, but I happily told them it was all thanks to Mudhen. They even had a custom mirror sign with text that we got to choose, which added such a special touch.

The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone left feeling well-fed. The menu offered a great variety, and we loved the fun cocktails that added to the celebration. Our guests enjoyed everything so much that some even mentioned wanting to go back later that weekend because the food was that good!

The staff was wonderful—sweet, professional, and attentive throughout the night. We felt completely taken care of and appreciated how smooth everything went. We highly recommend hosting an event at Mudhen Brewery—they truly made our rehearsal dinner a memorable and fun experience!

During our summer vacation in August to Wildwood, New Jersey, we decided to visit MudHen Brewing Company, even though we’re not big drinkers. From the moment we stepped inside, the experience was great. Even though the place was packed, we were promptly greeted by three attentive staff members and seated right away. Our server was friendly and took the time to guide us through the menu.

The interior and exterior design of MudHen Brewing Company are both impressive, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Everything we ordered was made perfectly, in particular my son really enjoyed smoked ribs.

If you’re looking for a great place to dine with excellent beer options and a break from the boardwalk crowds, MudHen Brewing Company is a fantastic choice.

Such a cool place! Super spacious and still packed! Probably because the food is incredible and so is the service. 👍

I'm telling you, there were sooo many customers and even so, we got our food in no time and it was delicious! It's hard to find such a flavorful baked Mac n cheese. That's just one of many things they did right.

And if all that wasn't enough, this place has personality too! Great live bands, a lighted outdoor area, and games like corn hole to keep everyone entertained! Definitely a must any time we come back to Wildwood! 😊

Been here twice now. Service good and this time there were 16 of us and everything was together served hot no mistakes. Entire place inside and out is beautiful. With this many people I got to try several dishes , only thing I did not care for was spinach crab dip. Was to fishy for me , other then that everything was delicious. Highly recommend the MudHen. Great for couples up to large groups. Be Fire pit outside 🔥.. Would love to try that one time.

Went to see Soul Cruiser, no matter where they play they are Sensational
Since we were on the other side of the kitchen, meaning they had to walk outside ,all our food was cold.
Oyster ( broiled ) were flavorless .
The hen chips , cut to thick , were nothing to write home about. Cheesesteak was good ( friend had that) but served cold from the walk. Had I known this before ordering I may have just ordered a salad , since it would survive the walk across the outside patio.
I still recommend, just sit on the side where the kitchen is .save eating oysters for another place though .

Warm environment, friendly staff, especially the bartender, Drew, amazing food, crazy good on-site brewed beers. Definitely a great place to go for a date night, family meal, or just to kill time and day drink. Thank you Mudhen Brewing Co.!!!
