A great family night!! Our kids enjoyed everything about the planetarium. I haven't been to one since I was young. The host was really great with my kids who had lots of silly questions. The whole experience was interactive which made it a much better experience. It's so nice having a place to take the kids that cost nothing. Every seat is the best seat!

We went to see the Pink Floyd 50th anniversary show. It was wonderful. We will definitely go back for a regular program. Chris was so enthusiastic to tell us about the planetarium and about space. He is incredibly knowledgeable.

Chris was an amazing presenter and the facility is super well kept. Show was great and I learned a couple things. Restrooms are in the campus building next door so plan accordingly. Show is about 45 min. There is parking behind in a makeshift gravel lot. DONT PASS UP THIS OPPORTUNITY! ITS FREE! 30 min south of Mammoth Cave.

Called to schedule and book the planetarium at least 10 times and cannot get anyone to return a call. Tried scheduling via e-mail twice and have still not heard back and it's already passed the day I was trying to schedule for. And I was scheduling 3 weeks ahead. This is ridiculous.

My friends and I randomly showed up to a show while visiting town. Let me tell you we had an absolute blast learning about the life cycle of stars by a man who was equally passionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly excited despite there being maybe 15 people in the audience. If you have a question not only will he tell you the answer he will run across the planetarium pretending to be a comet just to get the point across. Absolutely incredible, if you’re ever wondering if you should go the answer is yes. We are all adults and we learned so much about star life cycles. It’s free and run by equally passionate volunteers, so it really makes you excited about learning.

Our homeschool co-op planned a field trip here and it was a fantastic presentation. Our students would have been happy to have stayed for hours more. Chris was wonderful to work with and extremely knowledgeable in answering the many questions our group shot at him! I have raved to several people about how much I personally enjoyed it and we plan to return as a family!

Absolutely loved it! Very educational, very informative, nice presentation, friendly instructor staff & volunteer! My teen, preteen, & toddler (she feel asleep) & I enjoyed it & we're looking forward to going again soon! Highly recommended, but be sure to get there early so you can have a look around before the show begins.

The Planetarium is free to the public and has themed shows throught the week. We went on a Thursday. There were only about 20 of us. It was super interactive and our host/guide, Chris, was so fun and charismatic and engaging. The themes change after several months but don't be discouraged. Since your crowd size and the individuals change every time, the experience will still be unique. This is a great place to bring a kid interested in space, or a kid at heart who likes the stars. By the way, the Planetarium is run completely by volunteers and they could really use some help this summer. If you're over 18 (or maybe in HS) and want to be involved in something super cool, think about volunteering!!!
