!WARNING! The AEDC does not sign NDA's because if they see an opportunity for growth for the city to grow, they can legally steal your idea! I was referred to talk to the 49th state Angel fund in 2019 and I spoke with Joe Morrison from the 49th state angel fund. I met him at Kaladi and I asked him to sign an NDA. Morrison said he doesn't sign NDA's. I unknowingly knew that he was a Untrustworthy Snake! I spoke with Morrison about getting funding for my plan I worked on for months. Morrison asked to look at my plan. Then he asked, " do you want a job or funding?". Being an entrepreneur and thinking about the long nights I stayed up I said, "Funding". Morrison said, " you're going to make it far 1 day, can I take this with me(plan)?". I said "sure" thinking I would hear back. The next day I called and emailed and got no response. Then I seen a video on Facebook of his assistant giving a speech and taking credit for my plan, she even spoke my lingo that I used. I then seen my ideas sprouting all over Anchorage down to the Alaska lottery.
If you are a knowledgeable entrepreneur who has been around the block, don't go to the AEDC or the 49th state Angel fund. The name sounds "BIG & IMPORTANT ", but the AEDC and their affiliates are made to cater to more low volume start ups with unknowledged people trying to start a business. I decided to write a review because I posted the same review on Facebook just now & got blocked. The AEDC is obviously up to being Untrustworthy once again!
