Took the bear sight seeing tour. The tour was amazing and the guide was wonderful. Everything was provided and when we found bears we spent enough time to fully enjoy the experience.

Had an amazing Katmai bear viewing with them. The pilot was great very knowledgeable as was the guide. The guide did a great job balancing the wants of everyone and keeping us all together and on pace. We saw tons of bears. 100% would do again

Great folks to fly with! Pilots are the ultimate professionals, they have nice planes - and Kodiak is a great place to fly at.

Awesome pilots! I also had a positive experience with the front desk staff. One thing I will say is if you need to bring bear spray or stove fuel, communicate clearly with them to make sure they bring the hazard box for you to put those items in during transit. As with any small plane operation, they’re at the mercy of weather conditions, so be patient with them and they’ll get you to the destination safely. I’ve learned from the local community that they have a reputation for being safe pilots.

Great flights and great people, super friendly. Only negative is organization, they even told us they have no way to know who has been waiting longer to fly, we had been waiting two days to fly and people booked for the the day of were getting out before us. Otherwise, pilots were great and comfortable flights.

Absolutely amazing pilots, they are experts at what they do, safe, and friendly. Would fly with them again. 5 stars for them.

Unfortunately, their front desk is a different story. Overall, they were just plain unkind and unmotivated. It wasn’t a one time thing either, this happened twice with our group, and speaking to other people who fly Island Air reported the same issues.
Unfriendly, short with customers, no sense of urgency. Two guys in our group almost missed their flight at the Kodiak Airport because their load was sitting in the docking bay of Island Air, and they didn’t even bother to move it until the 2 guys had 10 minutes to board their other plane and said something to the front desk; what’s worse is the front desk lady spoke to them like they were idiots, when she was the one who was not even doing her job.
With front desk staff like that, they would never thrive in any major city; but because it’s a small island, and there are very few options on who you can fly to the small villages with, you have to plug your nose and deal with the poor customer service at the front desk. 1-star for sure.

Again, amazing pilots, but the front desk needs to learn basic communication skills; and need to apply themselves a little bit more when they are working.

I believe they should have a ride for people coming in from the Village. I am so disappointed because the people that depends on getting a ride into town it is now more. We appreciated all you friendly drivers.
Thank you for all you did for us.

Pilots are spot on! Safe and excellent fliers! The staff behind the desk are a little clueless and actually not very kind. They could use a little help with their customer service skills!
