I have been there quite a few times. The employees are very helpful which is good because the store layout is a bit hard to find things. The large addition in the back is great because they now have a lot more inventory. The down side is things like plastic drop cloths are in the large addition likely because they take up a lot of space. The paint section is where I started looking for them but gave up and asked. It's best to just ask the friendly staff where things are if you don't immediately find them.

Well, Ace Hardware in Albany, KY is open after dark! Even though it's dark outside and they can't afford any exterior lighting of their store, they are open. Can't understand why they stay open after dark, but they look dark and closed. Do they want business in late evening hours or not? It's a quandry!!

The place was well stocked. I went in to buy a toilet seat. They had the right color and shape. But the attachment screws were different. He assured me the new attachment screws would replace the old ones. He was absolutely correct. He was very knowledgeable about his products. I highly recommend this place for all things home.
