Couldn't be more satisfied. We arrived to Honer with a little hope since we'd missed our scheduled Katmai trip from Anchorage due to intercontinental flight cancellation. Andrei somehow managed to find the place for us to enjoy grizzlies. Super helpful, super informative, what a great flight we had there and back! I don't like small aircrafts, but he was so good and weather so fair I did not even vomited over his clocks. Highly recommended experience. Hope to give it one more chance (to Kodiak) in 2 years time. Fingers crossed.

What an amazing experience. Our pilot was extremely professional, and everything you would want from a guide/pilot. He was knowledgeable about the area, willing to explain small things, and was great with our kids.

He took us out to our desired destination, led us on a hike where we got to see a black bear, and got us back all in one piece.

On the way out, he gave us incredible views of an active steaming volcano, more glaciers than I could count, and more lakes than a lot of states have. On the way back, we saw countless brown bears, moose, and swans.

Our family has a tendency for motion sickness, but we didn't have any issues on the flight, as the ride was very smooth and he was a great pilot.

On our next trip to Alaska, Stellar Air will be our first choice for any service they provide.

We booked an afternoon flight to Katmai/Brooks Falls with Steller in July after our morning trip from Anchorage with another company was cancelled due to weather. Andrei was very responsive and we were able to confirm everything via text only a few hours before the flight. He was very professional and put us at ease since the flight conditions weren’t ideal. He took a slightly longer approach to avoid challenging weather and the calm in his voice as we flew over the pass was reassuring. We were the only floatplane at Brooks and practically had the entire place to ourselves. I would highly recommend Steller and Andrei and an afternoon flight to avoid the crowds from Anchorage. It was the most memorable part of our trip to Alaska.

If Andrei has availability, look no further. This is the right choice for air service to Katmai. Absolutely wonderful trip to Katmai. He was great with our kids and shared helpful tips about the park to make the most of our time with the bears. Once in a lifetime opportunity and flying with Stellar air was smooth, convenient, efficient, fair. We also got to see volcanoes and glaciers. At one point he spotted whales and made an additional loop for us so see them from the air. We learned a lot about geography, volcanoes and bears. Thank you Stellar air for one of the best days - it made our trip. You took great care of us!

We had an absolutely incredible time on our Bear Viewing tour with Andrei. Booking the tour was easy and straightforward, and the actual tour went smoothly. He was clear about instructions and what to bring. Everyone in our group was on time on the way back, so he was able to fly us over glaciers and volcanoes. Highly recommend taking a floatplane tour with Andrei!

Booked a trip with Andrei to Brooks falls but no salmon yet in the river so not a lot of bears showing up. Andrei completely understand our needs and message us in advance about the situation. He was incredible flexible by offering us several cheap alternative tour options. We ended up selected the one hour glacier tour and had an amazing experience this afternoon.

Andrei’s knowledge of homer area, smooth communications, and friendly service was over our expectation. Considering the price of his tours, I say you must give it a try. Personally, we will definitely come back and travel with him again, when the brook falls filled with hungry bears hunting salmons.

We booked a fly with Andrei to Brooks falls. The weather was not the best. Nevertheless, he did an incredible job avoiding the storm.
We were a bit nervous due to the storm but Andrei realized and kept our minds busy with his explanations about the falls, clarifying questions, etc.

We arrived to Brooks falls a bit later than expected but Andrei told us not to worry about the delay and let us stay the whole duration agreed upon reservation.

We had a really wonderful time and could enjoy the awesome Bears.
When we head back to the plane there was a baby Bear near the plane. Andrei didn't stress at all even though we were quite delay. He just waited quietly until the Bear left and help us all to get into the plane.

Andrei is a very relax, flexible, friendly and professional pilot/guide.

I'm totally recommending his services. You cannot be in better hands!

If one day we are back to Alaska and need a ride we will definitely book it with him.
