The IST Building features a moveable louvered roof, designed to control natural light throughout the day, reducing energy consumption. Its white steel and glass design gives the impression of a living, breathing structure, reflecting Calatrava’s signature organic forms. Inside, an open, column-free space encourages collaboration among students and faculty.

Surrounded by a reflecting pond, the building appears to float, adding to its futuristic appeal. A very cool building, often referred to as the spaceship of I4 I like it a lot, and it's cool that classrooms are small because the average class size is like 20 students. All the classrooms get to look out at the ponds, and it makes for a comfortable place to be taught.
