So happy with our experience at Goddard School in Lake Mary Heathrow! Our son has been attending for about a year and half now. His social and mental development has grown leaps and bounds since he started, and I know it's all due to Goddard School! The facility and staff are amazing with fun, educational activities every day. My son never wants to leave when we go to pick him up! Highly recommend.

This school has been nothing short of amazing! Owners and staff are warm and welcoming, curriculum is age based appropriately and teachers are amazing at the delivery all while being in a safe, clean environment. Our family is thankful we made the choice to enroll here!

We have been very pleased with our experience at Goddard school at Sanford. Very clean and organized.
Our daughter loves Ms. Katie.
Both Ms Katie and Ms Faith have taken exceptional care of our precious girl. In just a few months of starting day care she has learnt so much and made so many friends. If only she would open up a bit more with the other sweet teachers.
But so far we have been very happy with everything.

It’s very upsetting that I’m writing a three stars review. To already make things clear, these two stars solely go to the teachers that remained while we were enrolled and how clean the facility is.
The front desk crew is, to put it nicely, very fake. They seem nice to you but are unprofessional. Since we announced we were leaving, they did not even care to ask why. After all, we were leaving them for another school. They didn’t seem to know how to make it better. There was no exit interview to improve their school.
When a child moves to a new class it doesn’t seem like the teachers are trained to follow a specific child’s file and their needs. They give you a piece of paper announcing the new transfer date with some instructions, but if we didn’t ask other parents we wouldn’t know what to bring. My child’s need was not met until we complained countless of times to the current and new teachers, floaters teachers, and eventually to the front desk. He has sensitive skin and every switch, either class or teacher, it was a battle with his diaper rashes. If they are doing internal communication it didn’t show.

Another thing that really upset us was the inconsistency of teachers in his classrooms. During the years we were there, there were several amazing teachers that left for no apparent reason. There were absolutely no explanations given, when my child was getting used to the new teacher, she either left or moved to another classroom. Again, zero communication. Only a welcome email sent out to the parents about the hired teacher. Let’s be clear, communication isn’t just about when they get a boo-boo report for audit purposes, or for when there’s a sick person in the classroom. Parents like to be included about all the changes and how they will affect their kids.

The lack of transparency from the administration’s office is unreal. They all seem amazing, but there’s an air of fake attitude and judgement. They always seem to be right. No, I’m not the type of parent to think my child is an angel. An example outside my child’s issues, is when I called to complain about one of the parents driving like a maniac on the parking lot, their response was “I’m not sure what you want me to do. I mean, we have a speed limit sign.” Lies. The road in FRONT of the school has a speed limit sign, which doesn’t belong to Goddard. The school parking lot, doesn’t have one. I don’t know what you should do, I’m not here to find solutions to our complaints, that’s your job. Just be more professional about it.

To end this rant and to be fair, of course there are pros and cons. They do have good teachers that are still there god knows for how long, they do have a security system (but no cameras inside), they do practice drills and communicate it, and they offer snacks. However, that isn’t all that we care about when my child’s needs aren’t being met and as a parent I’m constantly upset about constant things. If they get hurt and didn’t have a good day, be upfront. If they didn’t nap, don’t say he slept for 2 hrs because we can tell! If they aren’t learning or paying attention during circle time, talk to us on how we can help… If you’re wondering, I’m not the only one leaving this school. I know of other families that either have left or are leaving in the coming weeks. I’m sure not everyone will have the same exact complaints as I do, but something has to be said to let the new parents joining made aware and the unhappy ones know they’re not alone.

Infant / FTM Review: The Goddard School of Sanford has a great staff who are like a second family for my infant. The school is extremely communicative and all my concerns have been addressed or resolved within an hour! I appreciate the lesson plans my son's teachers make and implement, even though he is just a baby. In just a week or so of being enrolled, my son's upper body strength increased so much that he actually enjoys tummy time now. He also learned how to grab and hold eye contact, so it is clear that his development is a priority and he is NOT just laying in a crib all day. The staff work as a team with their students' parents. The Goddard School of Sanford has definitely helped me become a better mom. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

They are all about money. They dont disclose pricing upfront which is always at any daycare because they will overprice and they do. My child did not learn what they needed to for the price we had to pay per month, was not well prepared for Kindergarten. Director will only engage with parents of high financial status and is rude.

My son has been attending this Goddard for 4 months now and it’s nothing short of amazing. Very clean & well taken care of facility. The teachers care for your child & strive to teach them new things.

To give you a perspective though my son used to go to a Kindercare and he was sick once every month, the place had a smell to it, and I felt as if the teachers lacked care.

I’m quite impressed with this Goddard so far and know they will keep doing a great job.
