I appreciate Alert Franklin and the notifications from FCEM. However, is it necessary to send out alerts at 3 and 4 A.M
for events expected 16-18 hrs later? This happens frequently!

Concerning the mandatory evacuation for May 27-29, 2018:
Disappointed! We realize you have the public’s best interest in mind. However, you guys need to chill out! I feel this is an over reaction on your part. This is not a hurricane. I have looked at various weather sites, including NOAA, and nowhere can I find a sound reason for a mandatory evacuation of SGI. The repercussions of your decision has created a huge effect on the tourists, guests, property owners and property managers. The local area does not have the ability to accommodate such a massive number of people. This arbitrary decision must have been made without much forethought. If, by slight chance, you happen to be correct, I will write back with a full apology. Regards, Max

Very knowledgeable people here and super helpful. These are the folks to listen to during emergencies and disasters. The organize the county's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). That's the group to get involved wrth for helping out before during or after a disaster. Call up and be a part of the community.
