His professionalism, knowledge and genuine concern for his clients absolutely relieved the stress and uncertainty that I and my son (as I am sure others) felt while I was selling my home. He was a wonderful support and advisor during the preparation for sale, the listing, showings and finally the closing. His innovative tiered approach to selling and commission worked extremely well. I am an older, single woman and was able to successfully sell my home with a tier that allowed me more profit from the closing costs. He was readily available for questions/concerns and has a retinue of qualified, professionals to address issues along the way. When I am ready to purchase another home, he will be the only call I will make.

I chose Jim Whatley to be my buyer's agent after he helped my parents sell a home that had floundered unsold for six months with another realtor. He had that house sold within weeks.

We had specific needs in returning to the Fort Walton Beach area. We needed a house in a certain area. We needed to be steered away from unknown pitfalls. We needed to be alerted to problems we couldn't see. Most importantly, we needed all the details in the paperwork and negotiating accomplished for us because we lived far away, were in the process of moving, and lacked the time to figure it all out.

Jim handled everything. When looking for houses, he picked us up in his clean SUV, drove us around to properties, and provided quality snacks and drinks for the trip. He went to the inspections, informed us of progress, and handled the labyrinth of paperwork with electronic signatures so we didn't have to seek out notaries. Jim was never late with a phone call. He was always prompt to respond. Jim's services made our transition to the new home seamless and angst-free. He was also funny and personable through the whole thing.

I should also note our home buying venture began when circumstances changed for realtors. Due to a lawsuit, buyers' agents had to disclose their fees. Jim explained the changes to us and offered us options. His assistance in this regard saved us thousands.

In a nutshell, Jim saved us thousands of dollars, took care of everything, and made us feel at ease through the whole process. What more can you ask for out of a realtor?
