I started yoga at Above & Beyond in November of 2020 and i can’t imagine being anywhere else. Shoshana, the owner, has been one of the biggest inspirations in my life, and her experience and knowledge is unmatched. There is something special about this space and the community is one of support, love, and honesty. Shoshana lives up to the name of this business by going Above and Beyond for every individual that enters this studio. I originally started practicing yoga to help with my stress levels and I’m proud to say that it has completely turned my life around in the best possible way. I truly believe that Above & Beyond is making a positive impact in this world.

Love love love the salt room! My daughter hasn’t had to use her inhaler in over a year! The benefits are not just for respiratory issues, it helps with eczema and I love that my toddler can come in for free with us. They even have sand toys for him to play with! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Such a great experience in the yoga studio today. My fiancé and I started out in the salt room, which was an peaceful way to start the day (Highly suggest). Then we took the pure power class. Not only was it a great workout led by Shoshana, but a great experience with the whole group. Shoshana, Jake and the staff truly went above and beyond to make our time there meaningful and so wonderful. You can tell it is a family environment there and everyone feels welcome. This made the whole experience even better for us. We are from out of town so we got shirts to remember the great experience we had here. We will be coming back as soon as we can!

I Highly recommend Above and Beyond, owners Shoshana and Jake are awesome. The staff is full of amazing teachers as well. I’m able to meet all my workout goals because they have a variety of styles from fitness to meditative, with classes like Core Fusion to KYM Asana. Shoshana always says, “You can go anywhere to workout but your mat is one of the only places you can go to work IN! P.S. The salt room is worth a visit as well. There is no better way to treat allergies during pollen season!

My husband and I moved to Mobile just under a year ago, and we were very nervous about finding a new yoga studio we loved. Then we found Above and beyond, and it has become one of our favorite places in town! The space is so clean, well-thought out, and relaxing. We also love the instructors. I love this yoga studio! I have moved to another state and I expressed an interest in attending virtual live classes via Zoom. The wonderful owners, Jake and Shoshana, made it happen for me and they would happily do the same for you! Every Zoom yoga class I attend makes me feel stronger, more confident in my yoga practice, and more connected to this yogi community. Above and Beyond is just that. The well designed studio space is welcoming, exceptionally clean and the classes are mindfully taught by certified and very capable teachers. The salt tent and salt room adds an additional level of wellness that could be beneficial to anyone; especially those suffering from any respiratory aliment.
