Given the timing of me reaching out for a set of trusses (literally right after Southern dealt with significant infrastructure damage from tornadoes), I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. I found the staff of Southern Truss to be helpful, timely in responding and most of all honest. I contracted with them for the trusses for my new build home. When I went in to make the final payment, without asking, I was told if I didn't mind waiting a minute they would recalculate my balance because lumber prices dropped...WHO DOES THAT!!!!

I was dumbfounded when told my bill was over 10K less than originally quoted. I would say, without fear of being quoted, there is no truss provider in Palm or Broward Counties that would make that kind of overture, they simply would have kept the profit. This of course is on top of the fact they were already more affordable than anyone else I could find in southern / central Florida.

Lastly, once the plans were complete they only required 10 days from start to finish for production. If you're building a house, self build or contractor led, insist on Southern Truss. The time convenience, cost savings and old Florida hospitality makes this the only choice for you truss needs.

I have been a builder for over 30 years and have never dealt with a more dishonest company. They changed the price based on an agreed market price of lumber and then did not hold to the agreement causing delays and damages to our company and our project. They will extort you if they can, stay away!!

This company is the most difficult company to work with.
For purchasing Their product.
They give you an estimate.
That is fictitious
and could change to any number they choose to make it before they even finnished building it.
What happened to honoring an estimate or a quote that is given ?

Never go there i signed a contract with them. And when it was time to pay the other half of the trusses the upped the fee $4000 and then refused to give me a copy of the truss plans. But took the updated fee and chared for the truss plans that wasnt even part of the contract. They are very untrust worthy and stole over a 1000 from me and i cant even get a copy of a truss plan that they are charging me for to even use. Horrable people.
