We made the mistake of using United mechanical for electrical and plumbing renovation of our kitchen. After two months of waiting for an electrical permit, we had to hire another electrician to finish the job. They also did not complete the plumbing work and we had a hire a second plumbing company to finish the plumbing work, but united mechanical would not credit us for the work that the other Plumber did And insisted that we pay the full amount on their estimate. I heard that they used to be a good company, but apparently we got them after new management took over and they are now one of the worst electrical and plumbing contractors we’ve ever dealt with in Southwest Florida.

What a great experience! Matt M., the technician was on time and very pleasant. He got right to work on the AC maintenance. He also went above and beyond with some other technical questions that I had. He was professional and didn’t push an upgrade. My home’s AC system is aging and does need to be replaced and Matt also suggested this, but wasn’t pushy about it at all, just honest about what needed to be done in the future (which I was aware of). Also, interacting with the office staff setting up the appointment was seamless and pleasant. I had to call the day before my appointment and switch from morning to afternoon, due to my work schedule. The office staff member (I didn’t get her name) was very kind and helpful with making this change. I definitely recommend United Mechanical!

Apparently I can only submit one review, so here's the update:

I had a new a/c unit installed today, and I have nothing but praise for Pablo and Pedro (as well as Marlon, and the supervisor who's name escapes me). Pablo and Pedro worked, without a break, for a good six hours straight. They were neat, incredibly polite, and displayed a level of expertise and professionalism that put me at ease - and they thanked ME when they left!
I will not hesitate to use United Mechanical in the future, and am relieved to have finally found a company I feel I can trust. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

Oh, and salesman Tom is a treasure. He answered every single silly question I had 🙂

United Mechanical recently replaced my AC and hot water heater. The project could not have gone any better. The install techs were very friendly, knowledgeable, answered all of my questions and they did a great job. I am very happy with their services and highly recommend them to everyone else.

The blower motor failed on our air conditioner and United Mechanical was able to get the replacement motor and install it very quickly. Matt, our service man who installed the new motor, was very nice and professional to work with. We are very satisfied with the response and service we received and would highly recommend them.

Extremely knowledgeable. John went above and beyond by checking entire system after the problem was diagnosed. Gave me some advice on getting the most from my AC unit. Would recommend this company and it's techs to anyone. Have used them for many years now and will continue to use United Mechanical for all my AC needs.

I have been using United Mechanical for a residential property and a 5,000 SF commercial property since 2013 for 2X per year maintenance and unit replacements. Great work all around. Install team and maintenance technicians are great. I never felt pushed to do work before it was really needed. When my units broke (always in the heat of summer) they were usually there within hours to fix them. Very pleased. Also, shout out to Samson, he has been performing maintenance on our residential property for the past few years, he is the kind employee that you wish you had 10 of.
