First and last. Beds are hard as a rock. Cannot adjust thermostat below 70°, the room stays muggy. The door to my room doesn't seal properly not adjusted correctly. The door to my daughter and grandson's room has to be lifted in order to latch. The food is average at best at the restaurants. $5 cup of coffee at the restaurant, but oh wait if you want a little bit of flavoring it's an additional dollar. Staff had plenty of time to give us adjoining rooms since both rooms were booked through the same card, but failed to do so. If I had younger children this would have been a problem. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Majority of the breakfast food tastes like it's out of the box yet still charge premium price. About the only thing they got going for them as they make good drinks and the staff is friendly.

The staff was great. They were very helpful and accommodating. I went solo and I felt safe. They made a point to address me by name to ensure that they knew I was there. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. White soft clean sand. Beachfront was clean and very well maintained everyday. The water is not your crystal blue that I was hoping for but the beach made up for it. They do have a very clean newly renovated pool that I took advantage of. The room was average but clean. You can definitely hear who’s in the next room. Grace’s had great drinks and food. Yotaco has the best Mexican food located ground floor below the resort. I was there for spring break and St Patrick's day. It was very busy, although, a wide variety of ages. Overall it was a great experience.

We recently stayed at the Lani Kai. We had a great time with the family. Good prices on the beach equipment as you get a discount. Good food at the restaurant inside. Very accessible to the everything as lots of stuff in walking distance. Only negative is walls are pretty thin. But room was very clean and comfortable!

My wife and I just got back from the LANI Kai beachfront resort. We found the resort in excellent shape. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well equipped. The pool was open but spent very little time there because the beach was so inviting. There was plenty of places to eat and the three bars on the beach served great drinks. The restaurant menu could be expanded. The resort is location was located within walking distance to other great restaurants and bars. The beach was cleaned and raked every morning and the beach loungers and umbrellas were plentiful ($35 per day). We had a very relaxing and stress free vacation. We will be back. I picked the Lani Kai Island Resort for a last-minute weekend getaway, and it did not disappoint! Despite the devastation caused by the recent storm, the resort has shown incredible resilience and remains a fantastic beachfront destination in Fort Myers Beach.||The rooms were clean and updated, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. The resort's oceanfront location provided breathtaking views, and I loved having easy access to the beach.||One of the highlights was the on-site dining and live music, which added to the fun, tropical atmosphere. Even with some ongoing renovations, the resort still delivered a top-notch experience. The dedication to rebuilding and improving was evident, and I can’t wait to come back when everything is fully restored!||As an added bonus, I ran into a bunch of friends from the old neighborhood who hang out at Fort Myers Beach, and it was awesome to catch up and reminisce while enjoying the sun and sand.||If you're looking for a fun, vibrant, and relaxing getaway, Lani Kai is absolutely worth it. I’m so glad I chose it for my last-minute trip!

Clean, comfortable and cozy. Amazing view. Best rate in the area, especially for only having moments notice. Staff is nice, but it's surprising that you cannot get a decent amount of coffee and breakfast until after 7am. Over all I'd say it's a pretty good place that I'd stay at again, but I'll pack more necessities knowing this next time.

I only spent two nights since I was there to photograph a wedding. But the staff was super helpful and friendly. The room was perfect. The Beach View and access was stunning. And the beach itself had nice pretty soft white sand. I don't have a single negative I can think of.

We had a great time staying two nights here! Wish it was longer. The rooms are nicely redone, fresh and clean. I liked having the bracelet room keys, so clever. This was a great location close to the restaurants. The on-site bar and DJ were a plus and provided some fun entertainment at night before and after we had dinner out. Bartender was great! Being able to step right to beach was so nice.
Things to consider: the music and bar can be louder (they closed at 10 though) just an fyi to older folks or those not looking for a fun, party vibe. Water took a while to get hot - it did after a while but never the scorching hot I typically want.
Overall would recommend and would stay here again! So glad I chose
