They destroy your property if they can't repair it so you can't repair it.

Horrible company and illegal business practices. They will purposefully destroy medical equipment that independent medical repair companies bring in for repair, just because they deem it "irreparable". A company does not have a legal right to destroy someone else's property, even for medical equipment. Repair companies should be able to make their own choice on whether or not something is repairable. If we let the companies decide this, then of course they will deem everything irreparable and force consumers to buy their product rather than repairing. This is no different than a tire shop slashing their customers tires without their permission when they think the tread is too low, or if there is a small leak in a tire.
