Incredible campus that continues to invest in infrastructure to increase its educational reach and power. Earned a Comprehensive Medical Assistant certification here before transferring to UC for my BA at a fraction of the cost of a four year institution. Their Health Sciences department is noteworthy! Additionally, their program for students with challenges is effective and I’m grateful for exemplary staff like Maggie! Truly consider enrolling here for a course in something that interests you or to begin your academic goals to the career and knowledge of your dreams.

I just watched a documentary on Marcus Knight. Anyone who attends this school should be ashamed of the education you denied a talented human being. I wish a full public censure of all administrative personnel, and for them to know the suffering they have caused. You have set back humanity's compassion 10,000 years. I don't recommend attending this school it should looked at as a lower learning institution and viewed as a deficit in your attempts of success.

May be a bit of a biased review but this school is second-to-none when it comes to cybersecurity skills in particular. I've gotten 2 certifications while here (CEH as a direct result of taking a class here and CPTS from the special Hack the Box Academy student membership that my school email address got me) and still a year and a half to go before transferring. When done, there should be 4 more added to this — and to say that this kind of training is beneficial for the workforce would be a massive understatement, *especially* the practical training in the HTB case.

Extremely loving staff, helpful staff, they really focus on those of us that struggle with homelessness and financial difficulties. They’re extremely queer inclusive and they love and appreciate gay/trans people which is very generous and progressive. The classes are fun and easy as long as you participate, especially the online classes. I appreciate this school so much and they give me the platform and support to always do my best. I look forward to taking more courses and eventually graduating!

As a former student attending this community college for 2 years, I can say that Saddleback College was an average experience for me. I graduated my high school in 2021 and I had the privilege of taking a course called C100 which was a pre introductory course of community college and taking it and passing with a C or above would guarantee a 2 year free tuition for Saddleback.

My concerns with the college are mainly the guidance counselors and campus police. There is a major lack of communication when it comes to transferring and the counselors fail to provide consistent answers for any questions you may have. When I went to speak with one of the counselors of the Promise Program, I was told Saddleback would be 2 years only if you have taken AP classes in high school and received a well score in the AP exams that will then transfer as college credit for Saddleback. The promise program has never once mentioned any of this up until now and I believe it’s ridiculous that we are wasting our time for another year here.

Now for campus police, they can be brutal and rude especially if you’re not white. I have had friends and including myself, that lost items that were reported as missing so we went to collect our items over at the police station located at the back of the school. The men are rude and disrespectful. If you don’t have a valid student ID they will not be lenient with you.

If you are thinking of attending this school for the acceptance rate, I advise to look into other schools before considering this one.

The BEST satellite school EVER! This is a very good school to start your first two years then transfer to a university or school that specializes in your needs. My favorite teacher is Professor Farnsworth! He is horticulture 101 and more when I was there a few years ago. He never questioned my extra needs to record audio because of my disability and NEVER judged me. Super nice Professor yest still very professional. I learned ALOT in his class even I thought I already knew everything I needed already about farming. He should me the science behind mother nature's magic 🎩.

This school has turned into a dump-truck. I returned back after a few years hiatus in my education. Both classes used the McGraw Hill Connect book and online learning system. Such a huge failure for teachers and the education system as a whole. The algorithms are off and the system rarely addresses test/quiz materials. The teachers at the school are disengaged and offer little to enhance the cheap program they forced us to purchase. I can’t believe this is even a college accredited program anymore. This program not only risks students also becoming disenchanted with their education, it takes away from true educators’ value in the community college system.
