Zach and Dune are in their element behind a camera. My now-husband and I hired their photography services for our wedding this year, and they not only brought our engagement and wedding photos vision to life, they far exceeded our expectations. They are so comfortable to shoot with and have an amazing eye for candid shots and the right lighting. They are quick to send sneak peak photos and we have been gushing over their photos non-stop. They are always prompt and on time, and prepared. My husband and I took quite a bit of time researching photographers for our wedding as we knew that was the one tangible item we could take away from our wedding, and we are beyond happy with our choice. We hired Zach for our wedding photography and as part of our package, he included an engagement session. He could not have made us feel more comfortable during the engagement shoot and was so helpful in directing us a bit while also making it feel super natural. He was incredibly timely with sharing a ton of initial photos as a sneak peak and all of them are incredible! I love that he shoots on a film camera a bit in addition to digital. We cannot wait for him to work with us on the actual wedding date and know those photos will be absolutely incredible as well!

If I could give Zach and Dune more than 5 stars, I would. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a photographer for their wedding; here's why:

1) The pictures EXCEEDED our expectations. Both Zach and Dune have an artistic eye. They took all of the "standard" wedding photos, but every single shot has a little something extra, composition, lighting, mood, etc. 2) They took pictures of "us." That is, they didn't just tell us to "stand over there and smile"; they really took a moment to get to know us, our vibe, and our personalities and thus really captured "the moment." Thus, the photos are exactly what we wanted, and also none of the photo taking process felt forced. We really were able to flow in and out of socializing and picture taking in a way that felt very natural. And finally, 3) Zach and Dune are wonderful people and a delightful couple. They work very well together. They were able to move the crowd around with smiles and gentle gestures, not by barking orders. It was more like having two guests that brought their cameras instead of two strangers sneaking around and taking photos. We are so very grateful for the wonderful work you do; thank you, Zach and Dune!
