Azulon at Mesa Verde is a wonderful place to live! The community is beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well-maintained. A huge thank you to the amazing managerial team—Sam, Lisa, Nathan, Luis, Bernabe, Marta, Judith, Rosa, Amber, and everyone else—for their dedication and hard work. Their professionalism and care truly make Azulon feel like home. Highly recommend!

I have lived in Costa Mesa for over 30 years. I watched the Azulon building being built. I would always say to myself that someday I would live here.
Thankfully, my wish came true, as I moved in about three and one half years ago. I personally call the Azulon Mesa Verde "the cruise ship that has a permanent port".
I say this because living here is like being on vacation on a cruise liner.
Luxurious living, engaging, well thought out and well administered activities and top notch management who always put the residents first. I feel very privileged to be considered one of the family.

There is nothing to compare with the peace and ambience at Azulon. The units are very nicely appointed with very livable floor plans. We have lived here for five years and it has become a wonderful home. There are rules to follow that provide everyone a sense of security and community. The grounds and amenities are managed to perfection. It truly is like a resort. A quick shout out to Rebecca, Sam and Marty - thank you for all you do for the residents. One last thought, this is a great 55 plus community centrally located in Costa Mesa where it is typically 10 degrees cooler in the summer. 😎

We visited Azulon to see our friends home The beautiful grounds, pool, workout room sand spectacular gardens everything is in bloom and color is everywhere. Love all of the activities and seeing all of the friendships forming

It’s also great that you can walk to the stores and excellent restaurants I’d highly recommend this everyone

My mother moved to Azulon mid October of 2020 and passed away on New Years Day 2021. She lived there 2.5 months.

The day after she passed away I went into the leasing office to give our 30 day notice, they told me we would have to pay rent through March because she was "breaking the lease". She did not break the lease on purpose. She died. We were told that if we did not pay rent through March (over $7,500) that my mothers estate would be sent to collections.

I went back the next day to begin moving out my late mother's belongings and let hospice in to retrieve the hospital bed only to find that Azulon changed the locks on us and I was unable to access her apartment because "I was not on the lease" even though the azulon staff all knew me by name and knew I was her daughter and caregiver. The lack of empathy and respect that I felt was unreal. The fact that Azulon would not even call me to let me know they were changing the locks felt so disrespectful and inappropriate.

On top of all that they charged us $950 in "damages" for an apartment that she lived at for a total of 2.5 months. When asked for photo proof of the damages they said they had photos but they could not provide them. I appealed and asked if someone higher up could approve of the photos being sent to me. They said no

Today we paid them $8,642 because my mom died and "broke the lease". unreal.

The stress that the Azulon staff added to my family's grief was extremely frustrating and I would not recommend anyone with a sick family member to move there. It is very VERY clear that they value profit over people.

My Mom has lived here since it opened. She pays like $2000 for a 1 bedroom. They raise the rent by the maximum allowable 10% every time you renew your lease. The office is often hard ti deal with. But, maintenance is great and the grounds are nice. Parking is not assigned at all and it is kind of far.

Azulon at Mesa Verde is currently managed by prejudiced incompetent managers as well as Legacy division managers. They apply arbitrary policies based on age, race, and gender. The property is far from a 3 star motel with broken down gates in the center of getto homeless Costa Mesa. I would not let my parents live in such a getto, unkept, and unsafe area. Already done that and so happy to get them out of that prison.

Take my advice....so much wrong with this place and no time to list the horrific conditions.
