I saw the review saying that he would give one star, and then the contradicting one that gave 5 stars only because he thought it wasn't fair. In my experience, it is in between; I certainly wouldn't give 5, 4, and really not even 3 stars. In fact, because nothing tangible was offered to counter the 1 star, perhaps that IS where it should be. I was initially given a verbal quote for $2740 for a solution, which ultimately ended up being over $9000. Naturally I needed convincing at that point, and that talked a good talk, smooth salesmanship. I was told: "we'll make you shine", "we'll make you look good". Right! The salesperson, Gary Corey, sounded like he knew his products. Maybe, maybe not. I guess we'll never know. The software didn't exist in '84. I know because I have been around, and the programming language used didn't exist then. Their tech support was argumentative, and kept asking me about connectors that I had written and verbally communicated to them on at least six different occasions do not exist on the servo motors. Gary tried to pass that off on me, saying that they provided the information based on what I said I had. I never said we had connectors. I sent photos and a model number from the servo motor, and he said he knew what we have and would send what we needed. Ultimately, the hardware works with encoders, and what we have are resolvers. Late in the process I was able to get a single page diagram from the end-users, which indicated that the system might use resolvers. When I discussed this with their tech support, all they could talk about was connectors we didn't have. Finally, they admitted it won't work with their hardware, and the ONLY solution was to change the resolvers out for encoders. Then, the tech support guy actually lied to the salesman, at least according to the salesman, Gary, about us not being cooperative, and not wanting to answer questions, and having all of these wonderful solutions. Not true. We were offered one solution. What really ruined any sort of future relationship was that the salesman, the person who promised to make us shine, will not return phone calls. Previously he said he never got the message, but now I doubt this was truthful. More recently, he said he wanted everyone to see our issues in writing, but the truth is, they don't read the information we send them anyway. This was made evident by the fact that we told them initially we do not have the connectors, and they did not answer any of the two questions we had. I agree that the tech support staff are morons. The support is weak at best, and do NOT expect a return phone call, or any useful information, at least not without extensive, ridiculously involved dialog. If you are not absolutely confident in your own abilities to pull off an interface or upgrade, DO NOT buy from these guys. Their quotes will double, triple, or more, and you will NOT get the support expected or promised. After the purchase, you will NOT get return phone calls.

If you would like a 1980's product in 2013 this is the company you should choose. Ohh and they can't/won't support their 1980's product. I received a 3.5" floppy/coaster with my order though!
