Tour this if you can. Tom and Adam were wonderful hosts. Bad ass scissors. There was quite an assortment of machine tools. The tools were varied in age, size, and function It was hard to fathom the complexity of the different magnet assemblies. My reviews for Google tend to be short so I am just adding words to this one. But in truth the lab tour was incredibly interesting.

I periodically visit this museum with my kids. There are many hands-on activities for them. They can build and test their own rockets. They can build a variety of things, depending on the exhibit. There is also a great outdoor area for kids to explore.Always fun!

Fantastic city views if you don't cone for anything else. But if you do, the fun inside the science center is 1st class. Tons of hands on activities for kids of all ages including, building rickets, diy musical instruments and logic puzzles. This day they brought out some turtles from the learning lab for some sun and plenty of attention. We arrived in the late morning and closed the place down at 5pm so needless to say we were having fun. We maybe even learned some stuff...maybe.

This place could be better.

Many exhibits/interests are not accompanied by any information. I’d go in prepared to coach the kids as this place is great for homeschoolers.

A lot of practical examples on aerodynamics, solar system and Chucky-Cheese-type games thinly veiled as Physics. Mind you it is fun!

Not crowded so you can take you time with the children and let them explore with other kids.

Stay away from the “story time”. This is the only place where you get a disconnect from Science and into more Liberal Arts.

Plan on spending a full day chock full of activities. Feed your meter for at least four hours. The staff is excellent and will let you go top up your parking in case you underestimate.

They do not have a cafeteria and only a small place to have your own food.

Watch out for occasional special pricing which makes this spot even better.

My son and 3 year old grandson took me along this time to one of their favorite hangouts and it was great. I think it's a little better than the Exploratorium and the setting can't be beat. My grandson and I built a windmill, pipetted colored water, and did a number of experiments. My son has a membership and has always loved the place since he was about his son's age.
