My experience with Praxis has been positive . From the start, they were super friendly and easy to work with. Pricing was a big deal for us since we wasted so much money on our last EHR, and Praxis has been way more affordable, or about half the cost. Some of the other systems we looked at were even more expensive, and a lot of them had hidden fees that added up. One system we tried ended up being double the original quote, which was a total nightmare. Praxis is easy to use, efficient, and our providers actually like using it, which says a lot. It’s made a noticeable difference in how smoothly everything runs at our practice. The customer support is quite good. They’ve been super reliable and quick to help every time we’ve needed them, even with one of our locations being in a different time zone. Switching to Praxis was such a good decision. It’s affordable, and the team behind it really cares about their customers. I’d 100% recommend it.

Praxis is fantastic. I've worked with a couple of other EHR systems before, but nothing like this. Praxis is the first one that actually feels like it’s working with me instead of against me. I don’t waste time clicking through a million options or fighting with the interface. Praxis just flows. My notes are more accurate, and I feel like I’m actually able to spend more time with patients which is great.

I've used three different EHR systems in my 26 years of practice, and Praxis EMR is by far the best. Unlike the other systems I used, Praxis actually learns from me as I go, making charting faster and more intuitive over time. Praxis lets me focus on patient care instead of dealing with entering info into menus and templates. Praxis is quite fast, easy to use overall, and helps me create better, more personalized records and since I have been using Praxis it seem to be able to concentrate more on my patients which has made a difference.. Praxis has definitely made a nice difference in my workflow and the quality of care I can give to my patients.

My experience with Praxis has been not great. It is very labor intensive to use. It only provides EMR and not practice management, therefore another company needs to be used and you better hope that the two programs exchange the information needed to run an office, The training was a joke and the monthly charge for IT help is 300.00 and when you call nothing gets fixed. I have been waiting for one month for a patient portal to be fixed.
Stay away at all costs.

To call Praxis an EMR is to undervalue the power and flexibility of this program at almost every level. This program learns ON THE FLY and is adaptive to every aspect of your practice of medicine.

Infor-Med is not so much an EMR company as it is a collection of physicians and software developers who have fine-tuned the art of listening to the medical providers using this program over the past 30 years.

Praxis is a program that allows unprecedented access to the core functionality of the program, allowing the user to quite literally change the way the program works at its core, to meet the needs of each individual user, allowing each user to build their own unique EMR on the Praxis Platform.

Most EMR‘s force the user to practice medicine to the templates and the macros embedded into the EMR by programming technicians.

Praxis is nothing more than a platform upon which you will build YOUR EMR that is specific to you and your practice of medicine and as Praxis learns how you practice medicine, ON THE FLY, it becomes your preflight checklist preventing you from forgetting the mundane, always helping you to remember the most important aspects of each individual patient’s medical needs, all while allowing you time to form a relationship with your patient during each encounter.

One of the best things about Praxis is that it gives you back the time all of the other EMRs have stolen from you, allows you to complete you documentation in a fraction of the time, all while returning your personal time back to you and your family.

So when I saw the demo, my jaw dropped... They took concepts I knew and ran with them further than I imagined possible. My next thought was... oh my... people may not easily realize what Praxis has accomplished until using the software...

For context.. In residency training I was tasked with teaching patient presentations to medical students. I had some previous training in internal medicine at an ivy league program where I struggled with presentation skills. But due to a lot of intensive work and guidance I became very skilled (and the prior struggle lent itself to teaching students, because I could guide students having difficulty).

One cornerstone was teaching students that we do not process information in written text, and if you look at a transcription of any conversation, it tends to be... run-on sentence, fragment, tangential thought, one word reply, then run-on sentence, etc. Speech is fragmentation and it needs to stay that way else it is difficult for the listener (..that is why it is so annoying when you hear an entire lecture read off long paragraphs in powerpoint).

Speech patterns aside, the point is that we do not think in written text. Furthermore, as a provider gains experience, human cognition allows them to process information much faster than conscious awareness. Praxis understands this, and they built something revolutionary. Put in your information on their website and watch their demo, I would need to write 2 pages to explain it. Basically imagine an academic quality H&P completed in 45 seconds, unique to the patient. For the how is that possible? ..watch the demo.

Currently, I'm a few weeks into the onboarding experience. The team has been phenomenal. Multiple attentive people, and the trainer is the best. Oh.. and I had a very unusual connectivity request, and in turn.. even their subcontractors are amazing. They are teaching our clinic how to vastly improve the tele-psychiatry experience for our providers (that wasn't even in the work order or request, it was, ...hey can I get some advice, ...for free I am working with expert who is amazing, he isn't even an employee of Praxis).
