Poor management of companion animal welfare (dogs/cats).
N.C.has the 2nd highest euthanasia rate in the COUNTRY.
They Issue numerous licenses to Pet Shops that directly source from inhumane puppy mills. These stores are rarely inspected or if Anima Welfare Act violations are found rarely are their consequences. Financially or Legally.
Pet Shops mislead consumers regarding health status, breeder, & charge exorbitant interest financing for marked up puppies.
The CDC have linked pet shop offspring to causing human antibiotic resistance diseases in 18 states resulting in hospitalizations.

Called this afternoon to the agronomics division regarding my soil samples and spoke with a very rude older white gentleman (if he deserves that title), wish I would've gotten his name but he was very rude and disrespectful to me when I was just checking on the status of my soil samples. These people must forget who pays their paychecks and need a reality check YOU WORK FOR THE PEOPLE if you are a state worker. I hope whoever is in charge sees this because he was a complete jerk and doesn't deserve his cushy behind the desk state job and benefits.

Seem to be inexperienced about the different types of herbicides and damage to trees on property lines. Stated on the phone that they were not interested in helping people with their concerns about herbicide drift from neighbors. Could not get any help and they were very rude and unprofessional! Makes me wonder what they are teaching these guys. I did see that no one likes to work there. What is up with that? I wanted to work at this place!!!! I guess I will have to work in a different Ag office.
