My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Kim and Leo. As we arrived, they greeted us outside, where we were immediately struck by their kindness and hospitality. The loft itself is IMMACULATE. Gorgeous, modern and well-appointed. No detail was left unseen to. From the bottle of wine waiting for us inside, to the snacks and beverages provided in the kitchenette, to the carefully crafted binder filled with recommendations and helpful tips…we were blown away. The property it sits on is absolutely lovely as well. Our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay! If I could give more than five stars, I would.

We stayed last July, and were impressed both with the loft itself and with the thought and care that Kim and Leo put into every aspect. I was not at all surprised to learn that they used to run a bed and breakfast! The winery was not yet producing wine when we were there, but you can still walk down to the vineyard. No stove, but the grill was plenty for us, and the view from the porch at sunset was beautiful and peaceful. Overall, one of the best rental experiences we've ever had, a welcome respite, and someplace we look forward to visiting again!

We stayed at The Loft for one night at the end of our trip to Yosemite and can't wait to go back. It's on the winery property and was very easy to find. Communication and arrival instructions were clear and there were so many thoughtful touches that made us feel at home. The well-stocked kitchenette was so appreciated, bed was super comfy, the space spotlessly clean and BIG! We sat outside and stargazed, watched birds, and walked the trail to look at the property. The recommendations provided by our hosts were spot on and they even offered us a leisurely checkout so we could sleep in. Just fantastic.

We celebrated our 1st anniversary here and it couldn't have been more perfect. Very peaceful area with gorgeous sunsets over the vineyards. Only an hour drive into Yosemite and the hosts were excellent with communication and making sure we had everything we needed, including a wonderful bottle of local wine. Don't hesitate for a second, book here. We know we will be back next time we fly out there.

We wanted a getaway for our 10th anniversary this summer, but also wanted to hike in Yosemite National Park. Papillon Cellars was a short, 30 minute or so drive into the park. It offered a clean, comfortable, beautiful loft in the hills. Really, there is not a closer spot to Yosemite that is this nice and affordable. Papillon Cellars is THE spot. The hosts, Leo and Kim, are fantastic. They will provide anything you need, but aren't intrusive. The loft is modern with great amenities. Mariposa is probably 5 minutes from the loft, so easy to run into town for supplies or a meal. Highly recommend anyone heading out that way to pay Papillon Cellars a visit.

A quiet and safe place to enjoy the sunrise and sunset.

I was at The Loft at the beginning of June, the place was impeccable. My hosts Kim and Leo prepared some snacks and a bottle of wine as part of the welcome package. Because it was a solo trip, safety was important to me. I felt safe and welcome.

We stayed here in Sept/October. Leo and Kim were there to greet us when we pulled in. Beautiful loft with a great view. You're literally staying on top of a hill in a vineyard, it's stunning. Room is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and has a great view. The loft had dishes, coffee, and some snacks. Close to the where everything is in Mariposa, and about 45-60mins away from the entrance of Yosemite. Leo was awesome in communicating, and even sent me a lengthy email about where to go in Yosemite to help us plan our trip.

We stayed here in May. We were greeted by the wonderful host as we pulled up into the parking lot. There are stairs leading up to the loft. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It's about 45 minutes to the entrance of Yosemite and 10 minutes away from the small town of Mariposa. We had a very comfortable stay. It was the perfect place to come back and relax each day after a long day of hiking.
