As a Namibian I realized Sustainability is making a difference to my country and to the wider planet. I felt the urgent need to increase my knowledge fast, as Renewable Energies are happening now in Namibia and as it will profoundly change our future. I could not be left behind in this new, green world.
After some analysis, I decided to first study the REI's Accredited Master in Renewable Energy Award. Having passed 5 of the 12 required subjects, here is my opinion:
REI is by far the best time and cost effective way for me to obtain basic and practical Renewable Energy knowledge from a reputable institution (for example, in the Hydrogen Energy course). It is also possible to build on the basics through advanced courses on theory and best global practices (for example, in the Developing Hydrogen Energy Projects course).
The subjects stimulated and expanded my world, the lecturers were deeply experienced and qualified, and the Institute was welcoming, with great service and excellent support tools.
I can recommend the REI fully - in fact I am planning to continue way beyond the required subjects, until I have covered most of their available courses. There is so much interesting knowledge to obtain, just imagine learning more about AI in RE!
The REI has exceeded my expectations while laying a sound foundation for my continuing studies in Renewables.

Very good institution in renewable energy industry!
Teaching faculty / Professors are very well experienced and skilled personnel from UK renewable energy industry.
Modules are very well organized. However sometimes content is too theoretical.
I did my masters in renewable energy award from year 2022-24 and really enjoyed my learning journey by managing heavy work pressure at work front! Course content is bit difficult but exams are easy and multiple choice objective type questions and also open book!
I would recommend this course who wants to enter in renewable energy industry or upgrade additional skills to your current job scopes.

Since Nov 2021, I have been attending Accredited Master in Renewable Energy Award program with the Renewable Energy Institute and I am delighted to share that as on date, I am almost on the verge of completion of the same.
I found all the modules within the program are very much concise and enriched with plenty of information which further helped me to learn new things; build knowledge base on a wider and diversified landscape of Renewable Energy.
The flexibility to attending the courses and further attending the exams as per my convenience, brought a great advantage and enabled me to keep studying from anywhere and while on travel.

The REI courses and the certification process are professional, transperent and deeply technical. The course material is continuously updated with latest market developments.

REI Offers courses with live tutorial as well as with Self Study. As per my experience, I recommend that one should also take the tutorial, which provides (1) live examples & case studies (2) enables the participants to get the doubts clarified by the experts as well as by the other particpating professionals across globe.

At the end of completing 3 Courses leading the GMC Hydrogen Expert Certificate, I strongly recommend the REI courses to professional across globe in this upcomming Energy Sector.

I gained valuable skills by attending the Renewable Energy courses at the EEC. I’ve met excellent lecturers who are very knowledgeable and have helped me understand the topics in detail, and have been able to answer all my questions and provide me with further guidance on how to expand my renewable energy business.

I have followed both classroom and distance learning courses, the distance learning course was very useful because I could study in the evenings and watch some of the videos several times.

The classroom courses helped me to increase my network and through this I have been able to find new suppliers and clients too.

The high quality of the teaching speaks for itself, I really recommend the renewable energy courses run by the EEC for others working in the sector. Thanks again to the team.
