Ampla health in Magalia is the very best. They are all very friendly and truly care about their patients. I was having trouble getting my Rx filled, Kitty actually walked over to rite aid to straighten it out. I've done walk ins and been seen immediately. They have never been rude or turned me away. Now that being said the ampla call center? Which is not in Magalia, those are the rudest people on the planet! I hate having to call ampla just knowing I have to possibly talk to Brenda or Belinda whatever her name is, and rather just drive down here myself.

They never have a doctor that wants to stay. I used to be a regular since they opened and now I get treated like garbage. I decided to move to another doctor's office after their incompetence.

TERRIBLE!
Was told on the phone that I could get a referral from a PCP to see a Podiatrist, I told them on the initial phone call that I do not want a physical/labs/diagnostic testing, I ONLY need a referral to see a Podiatrist. They told me that was fine and they could facilitate that, so I made the appointment.
I got there today and they told me that was incorrect. They said I have to do a physical and a bunch of labs before they can deem me appropriate to be seen by a specialist. And that they would have to reschedule for that…. I have bunions, why do I need labs for a doc to look at my bunions?! Bunions don’t require blood work, they’re a bone defect, do these people know anything?! This is all a money grab, it’s sick.
I wouldn’t have wasted my time driving up there if I had known everything they told me over the phone was a lie. I rearranged my whole week to make this appointment and now I’m just right back where I started! I’ve been waiting for 3 weeks to be seen, just to get turned away and lied to. I get the impression that they’re just after your cash and aren’t there to actually help people.
If I could give negative stars I would, I’ll be going to Chico where guess what I don’t even need a referral. And I can be seen in a reasonable amount of time. Don’t waste your time at this circus, just go elsewhere.

I’m not sure why there are negative reviews. Not only do they accept medical but I really like doctor Danny. In my time of need he made me feel safe, almost fatherly in a way. The ampla in Chico was basically a one star rating to this one in my opinion. I loved all the staff, felt at home and safe.
