It's a job agency seeking for a job. You're pretty much on your own. They will not help you seek a job. Seeking for a job in Madera is like playing the CA Lottery. Been coming here for a year and still not employed... You'll end up degrading yourself in EBT, Medicare, into Govt. assistance and the worst being homeless if you think there is hope in this place. You will not be able to succeed your goals.

*Update*
My goal was to apply for a program since I wanted to grow my skills, enrolled for help to hopefully enroll for school training to at least get a job and stabilize myself on my own. My appointment came in, Aimee along the supervisor couldn't help me, my application was disqualified according to them because "have enough experience, and a degree coming up" I've struggled a year finding a job in Madera, Fresno, everywhere in the central valley, nothing. They can't help. I've lost everything and deeply regret moving here for affordable living seeking for job opportunities. I'm now homeless and never imagined 😔 to come this far down.

I keep hearing that management is really stressing the workers out there with petty drama and verbal abuse. It makes me feel really bad for the people there who just want to do their jobs and get bullied by management dumping their work on others. They're probably the reason why this place has so many bad reviews. It's a shame because the workers there do a good job. Someone in a higher position should really investigate management here, because it's really reflecting poorly on the workers and people seeking jobs.

The people that work here are extremely rude they look like they don’t want to be there at all. Don’t come here! they won’t help it’s just a waste of time and effort. This place should just be investigated and shut down.

I had the privilege to work with Julian Torres and even though things at first didn't work out. He kept me focused on the big picture. Today I got my CDL and I couldn't have done it without him.

Staff was very helpful…. Jesse was a huge help! He made the process very simple by communicating clearly, taking my information, and going out of his way to provide the services. I really appreciate their quality of work to serve our community!

Staff is so unorganized the man In the office today was yelling at my mom for showing up. Directed her to call the 1800 number for EDD and then was told by the 1800 number that she was suppose to call the Madera Office RESEA for EDD. This office staff needs better customer service. Stop assuming people get unemployment because they want to. Be thankful you you have a job and be more helpful without stating “this is the reason people get these types of letters because people don’t want to look for a job”. So prejudicious. He lacked customer service. He was so negative and so useless. I wish I could leave a zero.

Great place to update your resume. The program they use is great and makes it simple to update any information on skills you have acquired. People who work here are polite and usually quite helpful with what is needed. Still have yet to figure out what all the availibile help they offer is, although I'm definitely going to ask soon. Maybe even take advantage of one of those training programs.
